Challenges/ Situational analysis

• The substantive CEO was re-deployed to head the Human Resource Advisory Council

• The merger between The Tertiary Education Council and Botswana Training Authority had started

LMIS not yet fully operational

The SSETA was placed under administration after the CEO was fired by the Minister of Higher Education in February 2011

The SSETA has had some setbacks in the process of putting together a team of Executive Managers -following a situation where the entire team of previous Executive Managers left the employment of the SSETA.
