1.1 Company's Policy

Italian Casting S.r.l. is committed to providing its

clients with a product which conforms in every

respect both to the requirements of the contract and

the client's needs at a fair cost, within the

contractual delivery time, with the highest possible

safety standards, while at the same time protecting

the well-being of the natural environment and the

community where the materials are being produced.

To accomplish this, the General Management has

set up a Quality System which operates in conformity

with ISO 9001 standards.

This system has been designed in such a way so

that it may be modified and improved at any stage

of the production cycle, whilst also ensuring the

professional and technical development of our staff.

The Managing Director has the ultimate

responsibility for the development and

implementation of the Quality System.

This responsibility has been delegated to the Quality

Manager, who has full authority and autonomy to

develop and maintain the Quality System.

The Managing Director requires that all members of

the company comply with the procedures laid down

in the Quality System Manual.

All management levels are responsible for ensuring

that the requirements of the Quality System Manual

are both understood and observed.

All employees engaged in the manufacture of goods

in Italian Casting’s name are responsible for producing

a quality product that meets the client's specified

requirements.

COMPANY PROFILE - GENERAL INFORMATION

2.1 Italian Casting's History

Italian Casting, with an experience starting since

1947, is specialized as a steel foundry of special

material and, after more than 60 years of continuous

growth, has become a foundry of international

reputation.

The production encompasses a wide range steel

materials meeting the requirements of chemical,

petrochemical, marine, oil (on and offshore), gas

and power plant industries.

2.2 Plant Location

Italian Casting is located in BORGOSESIA (VC) in

Northern Italy between Milan and Turin,

approximately one hour by car from both.

The nearest sea port is Genoa, around 150 km from

Borgosesia.

The total plant area is approximately 23.000 square

metres with 11.400 square metres being under cover.
