PROFILE COMPANY
As the name Re-Solve implies, the company seeks - through engineering and re-engineering - to
address the technical, social, environmental and economic developmental challenges faced by
South Africa, especially as they relate to service provision, system inefficiencies, application of
products, institutional arrangements, organizational structure and capacity development.
The company consults to both public and private sector clients and specializes in water
engineering. Re-Solve seeks to identify inefficiencies within supply systems. Re-Solve has worked
with private consultants and municipalities targeting cost effective interventions aimed at reducing
water demand, water supply, water losses, better managing supply pressures and creating greater
awareness around water and the environment. Almost all projects have resulted in drastic water savings and
a reduction in water losses, thus creating the desired efficiencies.
As a civil engineering firm, the company is technically oriented and strives towards service excellence in the
application of international best practice, advanced technology and innovation. Core values embraced include
personal and business integrity, development of staff and community, creativity and innovation, as well as
strength in diversity and continuous improvement.
Originally established in 2005, the company has grown and currently has a staff compliment consisting of over
120 employees.
Re-Solve is a registered member of Consulting Engineers South Africa (CESA) as well as a member of the Water
Institute of South Africa (WISA). Re-Solve holds a level 6CE grading with the Construction Industry
Development Board (CIDB).
Engineers employed by Re-Solve Consulting are registered as Professional Engineers with the Engineering
Council of South Africa (ECSA) and members of Consulting Engineers South Africa (CESA). Other affiliations of
individual staff members include membership with PMISA, PMI (SA Chapter), SAICE and SAICA.
The company operates primarily out of main centres in South Africa. However, as project needs, and growth
have determined, there are now additional offices and satellite offices in the following areas of South Africa,
including:
• Johannesburg (Kempton Park, Midvaal)
• Western Cape (Cape Town, George)
• Eastern Cape (East London, Port Elizabeth)
