Afghanistan is a Land locked country and there is no Railway Network in Afghanistan. So, all the inward and outward cargo to and from Afghanistan the convenient way is to use Pakistani Ports and by Trucking through Custom Posts at Peshawar/ Torkham and Quetta/Chaman. Required documentation is carried out at Karachi Customs after which the Cargo /Containers are loaded to Trucks and transport to Pak-Afghan Borders under Custom Escorts having crossed the border the loaded Trucks move to the Afghan Custom Houses across the borders at Jalalabad, Herat, Kandhar, Mazar Sharif and Kabul.
