FORMALITIES FOR MOTOR CLAIM

TomaketheCompany’smotorclaimsproceduresandsettlementmoreefficient,youarekindlyrequestedtofulfillthefollowingformalities.1.PleasenotifytotheCompanyimmediatelyafteranaccidentisoccurredonyourvehicleorThirdparty.

2.Protectyourpropertyfrompossiblelootersandtakeurgentmeasuretoremoveloadfromthedamagedvehicle.

3.After the accident, report immediately to Trafficpoliceandcompletealltheformalities.

4.Report to the police station in the vicinity of theaccidentifyourvehicleislooted.

5.GiveontimecompleteandgenuineinformationontheCompany’sClaimsNotificationForm.

6. IfThirdpartyisinvolvedintheaccident,taketheirfulladdressandthenameoftheInsuranceCompanytheyplaced theirproperty.AvoidnegotiationwiththeThirdpartyunlessyougetawrittenconsentoftheCompany.

7.SubmitaTrafficpolicereportontime.8.PayExcess.9.Bring Performa Invoices from two garages basedonthespecificationtobegivenbytheCompany’ssurveyor.

10.PayyourcontributiontotheCompanyforthenewpartstobefixedonthedamagedvehicle.

11.Complete the Satisfaction Note and receive yourvehicle.

12.Makesurethatthehiredtrailerhasproperinsurancecover.

13.Report to the nearest COMESA office incase ofaccidentsoutsideEthiopia.

14.Provide the copy of the driver’s identity card &drivinglicense.

15.The insuranceshallpay incashwheresparepartsarenotavailablelocally.

16. Theinsuranceisnotliableforthepersonaleffectsinthevehicleatthetimeofaccident.(Seetheinsurancepolicyforfurtherinformation)

The Customer is expected to complete the followingformalitiesafterthedamagedvehicle isconfirmedbythe Company’s surveyor that the vehicle under theconditionoftotalloss.1. To handover the title book of the damaged

vehicletotheCompany.2. TogivepowerofattorneytoenabletheCompany

sellthesalvage.3. To produce evidence from the Road Transport

Authority, ascertaining that the property is freefromanyattachmentorinjunctionorderandtherequiredtaxdutiesaresettled.

4. Toproduceclearance from the InlandRevenueAuthority that if the vehicle was in use forCommercialpurpose (CommercialVehicle) thatitisfreefromanydebt.

የተሽከርካሪ ካሣ ክፍያ ቅድመ ሁኔታዎች

ኩባንያው የተሽከርካሪ የካሣ አከፋፈል ሥርዓቱን የበለጠ ቀልጣፋ ለማድረግ ደንበኞቹ የሚከተሉትን ሁኔታዎች እንዲያሟሉ በአክብሮት ይጠይቃል፡፡1. በንብረትዎም ሆነ በሦስተኛ ወገን ላይ አደጋ እንደደረሰ ወዲያውኑ

ለኩባንያው ያሳውቁ፡፡

2. ተጨማሪ ኪሳራ እንዳይደርስብዎ ንብረትዎን ያስጠብቁ፣የተጫነ ንብረት ካለ ጭነቱን በአፋጣኝ ያራግፉ፡፡

3. የአደጋውን ሁኔታ በአፋጣኝ ለትራፊክ ፖሊስ ሪፖርት ያድርጉ። ተሽከርካሪውን ከአደጋው ቦታ ለማንሳት የትራፊክ ፖሊስ ፎርማሊቲዎችን ይጠብቁ፡፡

4. ስርቆት ከሆነ ጥፋተኞችን ለማግኘት በአካባቢው ላለው ፖሊስ ጣቢያ ያስመዝግቡ፡፡

5. ስለአደጋው ሁኔታ በተዘጋጀው የአደጋ ማሳወቂያ ቅጽ ላይ የተሟሉ እና ትክክለኛ መረጃዎችን በወቅቱ ይስጡ፡፡

6. በአደጋው ሦስተኛ ወገን ተሳታፊ ከሆነ የባለንብረቱን፣ የአሽከርካሪውንና የምስክሮችን ሙሉ አድራሻ ይያዙ፡፡ ንብረቱ ኢንሹራንስ ካለው የኢንሹራንስ ኩባንያውን ስም ይያዙ የካሳ ጥያቄን በተመለከተ ከኩባንያችን የጽሁፍ ፈቃድ ሳያገኙ ከሦስተኛ ወገን ጋር ድርድር ወይም ስምምነት አያድርጉ፣ ኃላፊነት አይቀበሉ፡፡

7. የትራፊክ ፖሊስ ሪፖርት ያቅርቡ፡፡

8. የአደጋ መነሻ(Excess) ይክፈሉ፡፡

9. ተሽከርካሪዎ በኩባንያው ባለሙያ ታይቶ በሚሰጥዎ የጉዳት ዝርዝር መሠረት ከሁለት ጋራዦች የዋጋ ፕሮፎርማ ያቅርቡ፡፡

10. በጥገና ወቅት በአዲስ ለሚለወጡ ዕቃዎች የሚጣለውን የእርጅና መዋጮ(Contribution) ይክፈሉ።

11. በመጨረሻም ጥገናው በትክክል ለመከናወኑ (SatisfactionNote) ፈርመው ተሽከርካሪውን ይረከቡ፡፡

12. የተከራዩትን ዋስትና ያልተገባለትን ተሳቢ ከተሽከርካሪዎ ጋር አቀናጅተው አይጠቀሙ፡፡

13. ከኢትዮጵያ ውጭ ለሚደርሱ አደጋዎች በአቅራቢያዎ ለሚገኙ የኮሜሳ ቢሮዎች ያመልክቱ፡፡

14. የአሽከርካሪውን የመታወቂያና የመንጃ ፍቃድ ፎቶ ኮፒ ያቅርቡ፡፡

15. ኩባንያው በሀገር ውስጥ ለማይገኙ የመኪና መለዋወጫዎች ተመጣጣኝ የገንዘብ ክፍያ ይፈፅማል፡፡

16. ኩባንያው በአደጋ ወቅት በተሽከርካሪው ውስጥ ለነበሩ የግል ዕቃዎች (ገንዘብ፣ካሜራ፣አልባሳትና ወዘተ) ሽፋን የማይሰጥ መሆኑ ይታወቅ፡፡

(ለበለጠ መረጃ የኢንሹራንስ ውሉን ይመልከቱ)

በደረሰው አደጋ ምክንያት ተሸከርካሪውን መጠገን እንደማይቻል በኩባንያው ከተረጋገጠ በኋላ የሚከተሉትን ቅድመ ሁኔታዎች ደንበኛው እንዲያሟሉ ይጠየቃሉ፡፡

1. የባለቤትነት መታወቂያ ደብተር /ሊብሬ/ ለኩባንያው ማስከረብ፤

2. ኩባንያው ቅሪቱን ለመሸጥ ወይም ለመለወጥ የሚያስችለውን ሕጋዊ ውክልና መስጠት

3. ከመንገድ ትራንስፖርት አስፈላጊው የተሸከርካሪ ግብር ለመክፈሉ እና ዕገዳ እንደሌለበት ማረጋገጫ ለኩባንያው ማቅረብ፤

4. የንግድ ተሸከርካሪ ከሆነ ከሀገር ውስጥ ገቢ የዕዳ ነፃ ማስረጃ ማቅረብ ናቸው፡፡
