With offices in London, Milan and Florence, Nextam Partners Group is an independent partnership of professionals that operates in both asset management, mutual funds, sicav and alternative funds as well as in financial advisory for institutions and high net worth individuals through three operating companies: Nextam Partners SGR SPA, Nextam Partners SIM SPA and Nextam Partners Ltd.The group was founded by three of the partners with twenty years’ experience working together as asset managers; today they still have investment responsibility and are completely independent of the banking and insurance sectors.

Nextam Partners SIM is the first real Italian Family Office to be established by fund managers thanks to their experience and the way they operate on markets.

The SIM is located in Nextam Partners Group’s offices and has a specific Equity Research Office to help investors analyse, assess and plan their investments.

It carries out all the activities connected to the advisory service: consultancy, asset custody, order collection and executing, placement of third party funds and other advisory services.

Though Nextam Partners SIM is part of a group that includes an asset management company with the same name, it does not use the group’s products but only those of top-notch third party houses, thus it is a sort of boutique of boutiques.

The investment advisory service taps the independence and skills of its partners and the transparency, both as regards clarity in the investment services and the ability to deliver in-depth reports.

Since Nextam Partners SIM is not bound to any one asset manager and/or broker by any agreement that provides for the payment of retroactive fees, it avoids any possible conflicts of interest and acts only and exclusively in the interests of its clients.

The service offered is particularly suited to the needs of: - private investors and family-run industrial groups with sizable assets - institutional investors (banking foundations, banks and pension funds) in order to safeguard the funds their clients have entrusted them with to meet future pension and statutory payments.

1. Initial analysis of the current portfolio

• Analysis of the asset portfolio, which is often divided among numerous brokers• Analysis of each single investment based on their yield, implicit and explicit costs and the real possibility to liquidate them• Valuation of the financial assets and the portfolio as a whole

2. Selecting the Asset Allocation Strategy

• Establishing the most efficient risk profile based on the client’s financial targets using a proprietary asset allocation model• The model aims to really diversify the various asset classes and to stabilise yields through rigorous monitoring and control of risks • The goal of the model is to keep the chosen investment profile within a tight expectation range over time, in so doing limiting fluctuations and overcoming the limits that exist in traditional models

Selecting each single financial instrument and choosing the asset manager• Selection of the most suitable financial instrument to reach the yield target using a highly personalised product and with great attention to the fact that it must be able to be liquidated, it must be transparent and it must not be complicated

• Selection of top-notch international asset managers, many of whom are not known on the Italian market, completely independent. The choice of asset manager is based on the interlocutor’s particular laws and regulations

4. Monitoring the portfolio and analysing the main macroeconomic variables• Daily monitoring and comparison of the portfolio trend on the set expiry date with the benchmark financial market cycles

• Analysis of the main macroeconomic trends (GDP, inflation, decisions of central banks, interest rate curves) and global financial flows in order to monitor investors’ risk aversion
