Having years of practical experience, our engineering

team have the ability to technically support contractors

and consultants when they feel the roof is not designed

correctly or if the system proposed is weak.

The system is studied by the engineers along with

conducting pre-site visits to ensure that the area has

been prepared and designed well enough for the

materials to be installed. The engineering team will make

recommendations to changes and will not commence

until they are confident with the site conditions.

Focusing on these factors gives AGA the ability to issue

full guarantees on materials & installation on structures.

foCUS on enGineerinGWith structure protection, weatherproofing, insulation or general strengthening, although the materials & supplies that are used by AGA are readily available on the market, the design and method of installation is key and could make the difference between a 10 year guarantee & a failing structure.

SerViCe DeTailS:

Structural protection materials have to be applied with

skilled labor to keep the weather from damaging the

interior and the structure of buildings. Lack of the correct

structural protection can cause complications including

but not limited to:

• Structural failure

• Fire risks

• Rotting & fungus growth

• De-bonding of tiles and wall paper

• Blistering of paint and interior finishings

WaTerproofinG & inSUlaTion:WATERPROOFING

• PVCWaterproofingMembrane:

Thermoplastic PVC roofing is extremely strong, as its heat-

welded seams form a permanent, watertight bond that is

stronger than the membrane itself. PVC resin is modified

with plasticizers and UV stabilizers, and reinforced with

fiberglass non-woven mats or polyester woven scrims.

They are inherently fire resistant and have a longer

life than bitumen based membranes allowing for a 20

year warranty.

• ModifiedBituminousMembrane:

Modified bitumen based membrane and one of the most

reliable waterproofing systems in the industry. Proven to

be durable, easy to maintain and to repair. Applied via

propane gas flame by trained and approved torch appliers.

• LiquidWaterproofingMembrane:

Modified bitumen based liquid membrane. Reinforced

with fibre mesh. Allowing applicator to enter into the

crevasses of wet areas.

• PolyurethaneUVresistantWaterproofCoating:

Made from a base of high grade polyurethane and polyuria,

this coating imparts a high level of impact resistance &

waterproofing to foam substrates. Polyurethane coatings

provide a thin film, high gloss finish with exceptional

weathering performance characteristics.

• ProtectionBoard:

Bitumen based protection membranes that are ideal for

use on roofs, reservoirs, basements, tunnels, car parks and

other areas. Due to its mechanical properties, it protects

the underlying waterproofing system from sharply angled

aggregates and other debris. The polyethylene sheet on

both sides also enhances its protection properties.

• EpoxyResinCoating:

A heavy duty protective coating for concrete, wood and

metal structures, subjected to chemical attack. Approved

for contact with potable water and for food processing

and pharmaceutical industries.

• CementitiousDamproofing:

A Polymer modified cementitious waterproof mortar

slurry comprising of a liquid polymer and cement based

mix incorporating special admixtures. Interior and

exterior waterproofing and damp-proofing of concrete,

cementations, rendering, brickwork and block work.

• Self-AdhesiveMembrane:

A prefabricated self-adhering cold applied modified

bituminous waterproofing membrane sheet available with

variety of different top layers and finishes to suit every

intended application. The membrane is highly elastic

but also reinforced with a fibreglass mesh and an easy

release paper protects the adhesive side and allows for

quick application.

WATER PROOFING FOR LANDSCAPING

• Antiroot&GreenAreaMembranes:

A specialised membrane used for the waterproofing roof

gardens, planters, and greenery for the full protection of

structural/civil work. The system also conserves irrigation

when used under lawns and gardens. The system

contains high quality distilled bitumen and is modified

with Plastomeric & Elastomeric resins, stabilizers,

preventive chemicals and antioxidants which ensure

excellent resistance to atmosphere, aging, and organic

growth ultimately giving stability in high temperatures

and dampness.

• PVCLakeLiner:

Specifically designed for garden pond and lake applications.

Its formulation and production process makes compatible

with aquatic life. PVC resin is modified with plasticizers

and UV stabilizers, and reinforced with fiberglass non-

woven mats or polyester woven scrims. Allows for a

20 year warranty.

INSULATION

• PolyurethaneSprayonFoam:

A layer which is proven to conserve energy, and is made

of a spray-applied insulating foam plastic that is applied

as a liquid and takes on the shape needed in any form

necessary. Formed by reacting the compounds isocyanate

& polyol, the final quality of this layer relies mainly on

the experience of the applicator, the pureness of the

chemicals, and the condition/maintenance of the machine.

• LightweightScreed:

A processed foam concrete allowing for a slope and a

proven thermal insulator with a lower weight to surface

area. Extremely safe & highly recommended by engineers

for use on roofs to avoid excess structural load and to

protect from drastic temperature changes.

• ExtrudedPolystyreneInsulationBoard:

Insulation manufactured through a plastic extrusion

process. The resulting board is almost 100% closed cell,

strong, highly moisture resistant and easy to cut & lay

giving accessibility to the underlying roof for future

changes and/or maintenance.
