Our story began in 1989, When we were
established as Munters India, in collaboration with
Munters Euroform GmbH, West Germany.
Munters Euroform is a wholly owned subsidiary of AB
Carl Munters, Sweden, the Swedish innovating
company started by the technical genius, Carl Munters.
Carl Munters was a legend in his own lifetime, He was
one of the few inventors who succeeded in introducing
something genuinely new to the world. His inventions
such as the refrigerator Without moving parts, foam
plastics and his revolutionary ideas for achieving
cleaner air, pure water and more suitable
temperatures, not only remain highly relevant in
themselves, but continue to stimulate new concepts.

Munters Euroform has been operating successfully for
nearly thirty-three years in various areas of Pollution
Control like, effluent treatment components, cooling
tower components, droplet separators and in the air
conditioning industry. Munters Euroform has also
poineered the manufacture of PVC components such
as Fill Media for Aerobic and Anaerobic Biological
Treatment and Tube Settlers for Solid-Liquid
Separation in water and waste-water treatment.
Adhering to the technical and quality control
parameters laid down by our collaborators, we in India,
have dedicated ourselves to providing practical, cost
effective and environmentally sound solutions to
customer problems for W?stewater Treatment, Gas
Cleaning and Cooling Tower ppplications.

and established our independence as MM Aqua Technologies Ltd.
The change in name notwithstanding, the long standing
tradition of high technical proficiency and customer
satisfaction continues to be in focus. MM Aqua factory is an
imposing 2700 square meter, state-of-the-art factory on a
well-landscaped, seven acre stretch of land in Gurgaon,
Haryana.

MM Aqua manufactures products which have been specifically
designed forthe customer's needs.
Computer support work methods, including CAD-CAM, ensure that the
very latest information is always considered during the design or
manufacturing stage, to get a consistently high quality end product.
The material is carefully selected to ensure the highest standards of
performance and in many cases, the material is formulated and produced
in our own factory to guarantee the consistent quality demanded. The
material is then extruded and formed into profiles and fills at our plant, to
enable us to control both quality and delivery scheduling .

The biological treatment techniques normally utilised
require efficient fill material to optimise the performance
of trickling filter beds, anaerobic fixed bed processes
and Submerged Aerobic Fixed Film Reactors.
The process design technology of MM Aqua's
wastewater treatment division makes plastic media
trickling filters the appropriate choice for wastewater
treatment applications. Our biological fill media,
SIOdek is well equipped with the expertise necessary
to resolve wastewater treatment problems of most
industries.

Structured fill media made from PVC film is used for both aerobic and anaerobic biological treatment systems and may be
seen in continuous operation in major wastewater treatment plants throughout the world. Prime areas of application are
Trickling Filters, Nitrification Units, Submerged Aerobic Fixed Film Reactors, Anaerobic Reactors etc.
Two major benefits achieved in the plants using our product over those using conventional processes, are low power
consumption (more than a two-third saving) and minimal requirements on installation space.
Another product, Tubedek is a PVC tube settler. This lends itself to a simple compact and economical system used
extensively for solid-liquid separation in water clarification and primary and secondary sedimentation in wastewater
treatment plants. Our

The simplest and the most efficient way to cool water is to use a wet
cooling tower. The advent of film media has radically improved the
efficiency of cooing towers both in terms of cooing achieved and savings
in operational costs of the tower, by way of lower pumping heads.
The construction and operation of such a unit in an economical and eco-friendly manner requires
the use of efficient fill material, splash bars, drift eliminators and nozzles. The fill provides the

More recently, we have in technical collaboration
with Thermatec, USA, started manufacturing Spectra Drift eliminator, which can be used both in
crossflow and counter flow towers. We have also recently launched in technical collaboration with
NERI-Italya specially designed Low Clog Fill called TURBOsplashPAC. Manufactured from PP"(Polypropylene co-polymer) it can withstand high temperature upto 110° C, can work in TSS
>500ppm and where little or no biological or scale control is envisaged. Ideal for Petrochemical
Industry, Steel Plants, Sugar plants and High Salinity water application.
Droplet SeparatorsDroplet separators are used in gas-liquid separation. MM Aqua's high efficiency, low pressure drop droplet
separators,
T1 00, T200, T400, OH2400, and OV270 are used successfully in many applications.
For Gas Cleaning plants
Chemical plants release large volumes of toxic elements into the environment. One of the most effective ways to prevent
this toxic discharge is to install an exhaust gas cleaning system. This is an effective and economic solution to the problem.
The many different compositions of exhaust gases require precise
specifications of the particular 'scrubber' system employed and of the type,
design and performance of the droplet separators installed. MM Aqua
produces a range of separators that can not only accommodate most
applications but also achieve this in a range of materials that can be tailored
to specific project requirements. One of these, the DV270, manufactured in
technical collaboration with Munters Euroform, is designed for vertical gas
flow and has been used successfully in many fields of applications.
For Flue Gas Desulphurisation
The desulphurisation of flue gases from fossil fuelled power generation plants is now high profile operation. The most
commonly used p,rocess is the 'wet scrubbing system'. Droplet separators are utilised in this process to minimize the
carry-over of particles that may cause plugging or corrosion in the sections of the plant behind the absorber.
One of the most difficult problems to overcome is the formation of encrustations on the separator profiles. But on the
strength of our experience, this and other operational problems can be solved with ease.

In many chemical processes, gases and liquids are in direct contact with each other at varying pressure and
temperatures. At the end of each stage, gases and liquids often need separating, Our droplet separators have
successfully fulfilled this function in chemical plants all over.
Components lor the Air Conditioning IndustrvCool and comfortable climatic conditions are essential for our well being. A fundamental requirement for this is to
have a steady supply of good quality air at optimum temperature and low humidity levels. Droplet separators used in air
conditioning systems remove moisture from humid air.
MM Aqua's high quality and high performance Droplet Separators (T100, T200,T400,DH2400) also known as Mist
Eliminators, have contributed significantly to the effective and economic operation of air conditioning installations.
