2. PERT (PRODUCT EQUIPMENT RESOURCES AND TRADING INC. 1988In February 16, 1988 PERT was founded and incorporated as an industrial firm by Engineers Armando S. Guangko, Douglas A. Gacasan, Godofredo G. Alcantara, Jr. and Pablo P. Cabatingan, Jr.

The company initially started as agent representative of world renowned industrial machinery manufacturers. Our customers include power, mining, cement, chemical, petrochemical, metallurgical, sugar, food and beverages and other industries.

In 1992, PERT, Inc. set up a Manila office to complement operations in the Luzon Area.

By 1994, the Manila office was spun-off as a majority-owned subsidiary of PERT, Inc. and named PERTMA Corporation.

In 2000, Manpower Services Group was formed supplying  clerical, skilled and unskilled manpower to some major industries in the Visayas and Mindanao. 

In 2001, PERTIAN INDUSTRIES CORP (PIC) was organized to take over the operations of AP&N Technologies Inc., a joint venture company of ACMDC, PERT Inc & Nippon Carter KK of Japan. PERT Inc. having bought the shareholdings of its partners, created PIC to handle machining works, steel fabrication and other engineering needs of our clients.

In 2010, PERT added Foundry Operations into its business units. Since Guangko Iron Works has been a  family business  of Engr. Armando Guangko, our Chairman of  the Board, PERT Foundry is now the leading alternative source of  Impellers  and other metal works in the local industry.

In March 1999, Lexmark heralded its arrival in Asia Pacific with the groundbreaking of its 380,000 square foot state of the art manufacturing facility in the heart of Mactan Economic Zone II in Lapu-Lapu, Cebu, Philippines.

By January 12, 2000, Lexmark International Philippines, Inc. (LIPI) Bottle Assembly Facility was formally inaugurated. Even before its inauguration, LIPI Bottle Assembly facility rolled out its first batch of inkjet cartridges ahead of schedule and captured the prestigious Lexmark Triple Crown Award for 1999; thus, setting a precedent for more manufacturing breakthroughs unrivalled in the corporate history. By the 3rd Quarter of 2000, LIPI began the construction of its Circuit Assembly Facility.

Our company has been engaged in a cultural exchange program since 2003. As part of the exchange program we introduced our internship program abroad to students and young professionals to different countries. Our aim is to introduce to the students and young professionals the opportunity of learning abroad through our internship or practical training program in order for them to be globally competitive. We want to make a difference in their lives by giving them the experience of a lifetime that they may be able to share with their fellow students and co-workers when they go back home. Teleperformance began operations in the Philippines in 1996, being the first major call center outsourcer to operate in the Philippines.

It has grown to become a preferred offshore contact center outsourcing option to the Philippines, North America (U.S. and Canada), Australia and New Zealand.
