Villanova factory is ever-evolving and the increase in flexibility and in manufacturing capacity guarantees maximum quality of result in the moulding of profiles, thus offering a wide range of products and manufacturing methods which can be adapt-ed to the various needs of the customer.

Nowadays, in order to offer an even better service to its cus-tomers, both at a craft and at an industrial level, there are also two points of sale in Bologna and Rimini.

At its headquarters, Ravaioli manufactures any kind of profile made from staffs of any kind of solid wood.

This flexibility was reached thanks to decades of experience and of growth by pursuing the maximum satisfaction of the customers together with the evolution of the market.

Nowadays Ravaioli’s mission is entrusted to the powerful lungs of the system, that is the timber warehouses which are always stocked with any kind of wood coming from all over the world. And it is sup-ported by the board cutting department, which was renovated and highly automated, by the moulding department, with about ten dedicated production lines which are set out in order to guarantee maximum manufacturing flexibility, by the cut-tomeasure centre, which is highly technological and only very recently set up.

A profile stands at the heart of the product in the case of doors and windows.

Ravaioli has a strong vocation in the manufacturing of staff beads for doors and windows in solid wood, louver boards for shutters, glass-stops and moulded frames for windows in aluminium-wood.

The choice towards a decided automation of the production and an in-house technical and design department help the customer in case of coplanning and industrialization of the product.

It’s a long time since wood was used only for indoor flooring.

Some woods of Asian and South American origin have features which make it possible for them to resist naturally to moulds and bacteria, besides being weather-proof, therefore they can be used also for outdoor flooring. Wood is manufactured into planks, called decking, which are used for pavements, porticoes, balconies, foot-boards, gangways, footways, piers and jetties, swimming pool bor-ders, garden paths and in many other places.

Decking is arising the interest of exterior designers and architects’ practices people who are following the trend of enhancing it by using these planks to cover the walls of houses in order to insulate rooms in an easier, more effective and more original way.

The most suitable kinds of wood for deck-ing are imported directly by Ravaioli and they are: Ipè, Teak, Angelim Amargoso, Iroko, Massaranduba, Garapa and Heat Treated Ash.

Ravaioli offers a complete guidance and planning service to realize and install out-door flooring.

Moreover, it manufactures and finishes the planks in such way as to make it pos-sible to install them with clips without vis-ible screws.

Outdoor flooring is available also in self-installing square-shaped planks, in stand-ard or customised measures, they have got adjustable plastic supports and can be fit on any even surface. At the points of sale you can find also special elements for the whole installation stage of the deck-ing surfaces.

Innovative and functional, Woodwrap is the first ventilated wood-en facade able to provide more value to buildings, increasing the level of energy efficiency and environmental sustainability. Wood-wrap comes from the mix of research, experience and know-how acquired by Ravaioli in its three decades of experience in decking.

In Woodwrap the natural elegance of wood meets the high per-formance of aluminum creating a unique merge that wraps the building, ensuring protection and design flexibility. The advantages offered by the system are very comprehensive as well as fields of application and services that Ravaioli offers to its customers.

The wooden paneling has been tested and certified by the univer-sity Politecnico of Milan for the high-level resistance to wind pres-sure. The company proposes the system with a covering in Heat Treated Ash, a quality FSC certified wood specie, selected accord-ing to three fundamental characteristics: durability, stability and mechanical strength.

Environmental protection, sustainability of processes and procurement, and saving of raw materials (even if they are reproducible) are the targets which lead the ongoing research of new answers to the needs of its customers which Ravaioli carries out day after day.

For this reason, besides the abovementioned kinds of wood, now Ravaioli offers also new environmentally friendly decking flooring: W.P.C. (Wood Polymer Composite), Kebony and Bamboo X-treme .

WPC

Wood Polymer Composite is a composite product made with 50% very thin wood flour and PVC. It is resistant to natural, weather and chemical aggres-sions and to UV rays and, moreover, it does not require maintenance. It is as nice as wood but it is stable, easy to install and safe, because it hasn’t got splinters and is non-slip.

Wood Polymer Composit is completely environmen-tally-friendly alternative to using wood for floors and coatings.

KEBONY

A surprising innovation that revolutionizes the con-cept of outdoor wooden flooring .

Thanks to the patented “Kebonization” process, it is possible to quickly reproduce the same physical and aesthetic properties of exotic wood using species such as pine (Southern Yellow Pine-SYP).

The final product is durable, beautiful and environ-mentally friendly.

Kebony technology is also cost-effective and truly sustainable. The resulting product is already certified regardless of whether or not it is sanctioned as suit-able for use as an alternative to tropical wood and wood treated with traditional anti-toxic processes.

BAMBOO X-TREME

Through Bamboo Ex-Treme, Ravaioli offers to its cus-tomers a plank that fully comply the environmen-tally sustainable parameters.

Bamboo, belonging to the grasses family, is rap-idly renewable. The patented thermic treatment, to which planks are submitted, protects them from external attacks improving the stability and the du-rability of the material making bamboo an essence comparable to almost all the existing woods.

Ravaioli is able to offer to its customers also wood engineering solutions. These solutions are wooden street furniture, such as walkways, decks and railings.

Ravaioli is also able to design territory, hydraulic and geo-technical engineering works, such as hydraulic river’s bank and regimentation in general through the use of poles, piling, bankboard, woven panels.
