About Us

Perfection in targeting accurately has always been our most important trait.

HISTORY OF TITIS SAMPURNA

To age is to gain virtue on life. The solid 30 in our years of business is not a sign to stop, but to keep moving. Long gone the days of waiting, in this age of maturity we are feeling younger than ever, ready to seize every opportunity.

Titis Sampurna was born in an era where the oil and gas industry in Indonesia is coming into its highest peak. The 1980’s witnessed the arrival of foreign services companies in Indonesia. As a country so rich with sources of oil and gas, it was a necessity that a local company emerged to stand side by side with the foreign companies, equal in quality.

Local expertise in oil and gas industry inspired our birth. Our founders established a company that provided maintenance services for oil and gas equipments, constructions and also project management. Inspection and quality control at international standards recognized us as a qualified service provider. We have since become a trustworthy partner for numbers of major international names in the oil and gas sector. We proud to call ourselves pioneer in this field and we are intending to be exactly that even in various new opportunities to come.

The solid 30 in our years of business is not a sign to stop, but to keep moving forward.

We have since become a trustworthy partner for numbers of major international names in the oil and gas sector.

We started our business to develop local expertise and as we grow, opportunities widen. We started as a company that provided inspection and certification. Now we can proudly say that we have come a long way since then. We have significantly contributed to the growth of Indonesia’s energy industry.

We have transformed from being an inspection company to an expert in operations and maintenance, and now became project owner by executing selective investments upon strategic projects. These investments are expected to have positive outcomes, such as the using of flared gas to fulfill the needs for a greener energy and replacing fuel diesel with the more friendly natural gas.

Maintaining quality is mandatory. To stay in competition we need to proof that we are indeed capable and qualified. We had re-certification on our most valuable and important pressurize equipments and for that we were rewarded with trust from the Indonesian government. Titis Sampurna was appointed the third party inspection of MIGAS, the certification agency of the Indonesian government. This enabled us not only to be an expert in physical inspection, but also the field of analysis and appraisal of oil and gas equipments.

Our involvement in several Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) projects in the ‘90s led us to engage in the Operation and Maintenance (O&M) business. The 1997 EPC sub-sea control project that we handled made us the first company in Indonesia that adopted such state-of-the-art technology.

Titis Sampurna is strongly committed to meet international standards. We attained our ISO 9001 after successfully conducting a number of O&M services, including the 430 kilometers Pagerungan-Porong-Gresik Pertamina pipeline and the 536 kilometers Grissik-Duri pipeline, owned by Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGN).

Coming into the twenty-first century, we decided to start new ventures and invested in several projects, including Gas Transmission Facilities Project at Bontang, East Kalimantan and Gas Transmission Facilities and LPG/Gas Extraction Plant in Prabumulih, South Sumatera. The plant separated natural gas into Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG), condensate and lean gas. It was inspired by the idea of optimizing flared natural gas utilization as well as providing value added products. These projects are part of our long-term commitment to support the growth of Indonesia energy industry.

Collaborating with foreign parties was also a game plan to move forward and be more advanced in capabilities.

1. GAS COMPRESSOR STATION, AIR SERDANG & BERINGIN,SOUTH SUMATERA

Titis Sampurna build two Gas Compressor Stations in South Sumatra as part of the integrated gas transmission infrastructure. The first Gas Compressor Station was lo-cated in Air Serdang Block. This Air Serdang Compressor Station has the capacity of 3 x 1200 HP compressor package with the abil-ity to compress up to 15 Millions Standard Cubic Feed per Day (MMSCFD) of low pres-sure natural gas.

The second Gas Compressor Station is lo-cated in Beringin Block. The Beringin Com-pressor Station has a bigger capacity which 4 x 1200 HP compressor package with the ability to compress up to 20 MMSCFD of low pressure natural gas.

Titis Sampurna build two Gas Compressor Stations in South Sumatra as part of the integrated gas transmission infrastructure.

CNG FACILITIES IN SEMANGGI BLOCK, CEPU, CENTRAL JAVA

The facility was built in 2007 and has been operating since 2008. This CNG facility optimize the use of used-to-be neglected flared gas and now is producing a more economical and nature friendlier energy that is used by various kinds of industries all over Central Java.

At this moment, natural gas stands as the next best thing after oil. It might in fact substitute oil as the ultimate energy source. The Compress Natural Gas (CNG) industry is now developing in a very fast pace, inline with natural gas gaining more and more popularity. That being said, it is also a fact that currently there are only a small number of players in the natural gas field. We see this as a great opportunity.

Pipeline gas transmission and distribution will remain as the most popular method to transport natural gas supply, but in remote areas, this method is somewhat impossible. Thus CNG comes as the solution to the problem.

CNG is a quite simple system. Investment opportunities are open wide to those who are interested in the process of fuel-switching from fossil fuel to natural gas.

Advantages of using CNG are:• CNG is the fuel with the lowest emission• CNG requires low maintenance• CNG provides superior starting ability, both in cool or hot temperatures• CNG is the safest fuel• CNG is by far the most efficient and economical

Both Gas Compressor Stations are also equipped with the pre-treatment facilities such as Dehyderation units to make sure the natural gas meet the standard gas pipe-line requirement.

As the nature of the gas transmission pipeline supplies to the strategic industries which do not allow any supply interruption, therefore our infrastructure are required to operate 7 days a week and 24 hour a day to secure a reliable supply.

SOUTH SUMATERAINFRASTUCTURE

Titis Sampurna operation site in South Sumatra was initially developed in 1999 as a project to utilize flared gas in Air Serdang and Beringin for Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) production and industrial gas pipeline supply. This project was initialized and proposed by Titis Sampurna to improve and increase the capacity of existing natural gas infrastructure in South Sumatra as part of the National energy supply sustainability program.

As the whole construction completed in year 2002, Titis Sampurna started the operation and maintenance of the whole systems to deliver natural gas, LPG, and Condensate production since then until today and beyond.

Titis Sampurna conducted Engineering, Procurement, Construction, as well as the investment of the whole facilities of this project which includes the following main systems :

The better expertise of Titis Sampurna resources consequently enhance our core competency and experience in the Oil and Gas sector. This USD 40 million project not only generate a stunning

economic turn-over almost around USD 470 million over 8 year of operation, but also save the environment in which the introduction of natural gas to industries in South Sumatra reduces the harmfull emission and make a better environment impact in the region.

The presence of our operation site in South Sumatra also significantly contribute a direct and indirect positive impact to the surrounding society. An improvement to the local resources knowledge and skill, as well as social well fare indicates the impact on the society which is part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and this commitment will remain on every part of our presence. The better expertise of Titis Sampurna resources consequently enhance our core competency and experience in the Oil and Gas sector. This made Titis Sampurna one of the most experience national Oil and Gas company.

2. PIPE LINE,SOUTH SUMATERA

The Gas Pipeline were build to accommodate both a Compressed Low Pressure and Natural High Pressure Gas from Air Serdang and Beringin Compressor Stations to the existing gas transmission infrastructure in Prabumulih. In doing so, Titis Sampurna built 60 kilometer of 8” and 10” gas pipeline.

The gas pipeline has the design capacity to carry up to 40 MMSCFD of natural gas and currently the gas was deliv-ered to some major strategic industries in South Sumatra such as PUSRI Fertilizer Plant, Power Plant, and Pulp & Paper Plant.

The presence of a solid gas pipeline infrastructure in South Sumatra, consequently bring more industries to the region which will have a valuable economic and social impacts. A proper gas pipeline maintenance such as cathodic protec-tion, chemical protection, pipeline cleaning and pipeline in-tegration analysis will ensure a long term pipeline reliability to secure the gas supply.

3. LIMAU TIMUR LPG PLANT, SOUTH SUMATERA

The East Limau LPG Plant was designed with a flow rate gas capacity up to 36 MMSCFD, LPG production rate of 200 tons per day and condensate production of 1500 barrels per day.

Titis Sampurna is now acting only as a producer in the field. Throughout and Processing fees are paid by Pertamina. Nonetheless, after the current contract ends by the end of 2011, the business scheme will further be developed into a direct buying system. Thus the LPG and condensate production will belong solely to Titis Sampurna.

Facilities: • LPG Plant • CO2 Removal Plant• LPG Storage

The presence of Titis Sampurna Extraction Plant play an important role in the LPG supply for the domestic market.

Gas Extraction Plant &CO2 Removal Plant

In order to maximize the benefit of the natural gas utilization, Titis Sampurna include in its design to built a Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) Extraction Plant as part of the integrated natural gas facilities. Some amount of propane and butane hydrocarbon gas in the natural gas can be further extracted through this Gas Extraction Plant to produce better value added products named LPG and Condensate.

The Gas Extraction Plant is designed to accommodate around 36 MMSCFD natural gas and to extract the heavy fraction gas content to produce around 200 MTon LPG and 1500 BBL of Condensate. The remains from this extraction process is the Lean Gas which is further delivered to the various downstream industries as end users.

The presence of Titis Sampurna Extraction Plant play an important role in the LPG supply for the domestic market in which our LPG production is currently committed to fulfill the domestic market demand in Lampung province.

As for the gas pipeline standard requirement, a CO2 Removal Plant is also built to reduce the CO2 content in order to increase gas heating value and minimize corrosion threat in the downstream.
