OUR STRENGTH IS YOUR PEACE OF MIND 1.0. INTRODUCTION: Zakale Expeditions Limited has been in operation for five years and is growing constantly. It is a Kenyan owned private company and has its head office in Kipro Centre Westlands, Nairobi Kenya. We are an IATA (International Air Transport Association) Accredited Travel Agent and are members of both KATA (Kenya Association of Travel Agents) and KATO (Kenya Association of Tour Operators). Moreover, we are also accredited under the IATA Billing & Settlement Plan (BSP). Our Motto is to offer personalized services to all our clients. We are a complete service providing, focused and highly motivated to ensure customer satisfaction to the best of our ability. This is in line with our vision to be the most outstanding travel agency in Africa and Worldwide. Our teams of professionals are equipped with great knowledge, experience and self motivation in their respected fields of operations. Be it reservations and ticketing, marketing, tours, safaris, car hire or any other area. They are prompt and efficient in their respected departments. We are fully equipped with the best automated CRS (Computer Reservation Systems) Amadeus and Galileo. The reservation system is linked to the SITA Network. We have database to maintain customer data for instant retrieval and automated tickets and making bookings on Airlines including Hotels, Car Hire and Cruises. This enables us to provide fast, efficient and more accurate service to our clients.

1) DOMESTIC, REGIONAL, INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT RESERVATIONS, TICKETING AND GROUP TRAVEL - The most cost-effective fares are quoted to all the destinations wherever possible as we have the facility of Special fares with most airlines.

2) HOTEL RESERVATIONS AND CONFERENCE FACILITIES- Throughout the year we

have very competitive Contract rates with leading Hotels and Lodges, which enables us to offer the best quotations in the market.

3) AIRPORT TRANSFERS AND CAR RENTAL - We can provide on request car rentals

including rental within Kenya and Overseas.

4) INBOUND AND OUTBOUND TOURS – Due to our extensive experience, we are able to organize a wide Range of different packages to various destinations, for both the up market and budget travelers.

5) VISAS - We assist with visa applications where possible. In most cases we can organize

visas without the presence of the client. We specialize in Dubai Visas.

6) MEET AND ASSIST - Passengers can be met and assisted by our Airport Representative whenever the service is required.

7) TRAVEL INSURANCE – We are partners with AIG Insurance USA. We and our partner

promise to provide the best Travel Insurance to all our clients are easy premium providing endless benefits to the End User.

8) TRAVEL POLICY CONSULTANCY – We offer travel advice on different destinations and recommend activities to try out.

9) 24/7 EMERGENCY SERVICES

Our target is to give the best possible service to our clients, we make sure that every detail of the bookings are taken care of right from bookings to holidays to insurance. We also have a very strong Tours department that works tirelessly to ensure that the most cost-effective rates, together with confirmations and the preferred accommodations. We specialize in Leisure, business, incentive and corporate travel. Our tours department is known to provide the most interesting tours. C. Supplier Negotiation Supplier negotiation is our greatest strength. We are actively committed to reducing Travel Supplier costs and recommending to our clients the optimum supplier mix (in terms of preferred airlines, hotels, transport etc.) We review your past and potential spending patterns to identify key suppliers and products that result in further savings for you. We are further able to use the huge amount of leverage we hold when it comes to supplier negotiations on a Global and Regional level, from which our customers here in Kenya may directly benefit. With respect to Air Travel, our focus is on Airline Contracts for our clients which include volume based discounts, destination and class based discounts, among others. With respect to Hotel Accommodation and Conferencing Facilities; we customize these by creating tailored packages according to one’s budget and liking. All our supplier programs and contracts are being constantly reviewed and updated.

D. Lowest Fare Technologies We are able to guarantee you the lowest possible fares by using “Global Fare Finder” technology. This is robotic software which is able to access „best fares‟ (lowest fare) through a variety of sources and markets, including the conventional GDS, thus ensuring we quote you the best available fare. This software is unique in that it overcomes the challenges presented by the differences between fares and availability shown by the different airlines in each country. We then apply “Quality Assurance Software” to each booking. This involves bringing key details into each booking from our “Client Bank Database” to ensure client preferences are incorporated into their booking each time they fly. We also put itineraries together which bring about more savings, and sometimes incorporate internet based fares in the appropriate section of an itinerary if it results in a further saving on the overall quotation. The more adept we are at using our network, product and technology to drive results for our clients, the more value we can add to the consumer experience. It’s always about creating better travel ideas to deliver greater savings for our clients.

E. Guaranteed Customer Care Program We have a dedicated Customer Care Department. We assign an experienced Account Manager to you who will provide you with personalized support and assistance. Upon a traveler’s return a post trip check shall be made by e-mail or phone call to the traveler through our Customer Care Department for purposes of obtaining feedback and maintaining high service levels. We undergo regular Quality Surveys, Evaluations and Reviews, to ensure nothing is left to chance in delivering on our promise. We also train your staff to create the optimum working partnership, and intervene on your behalf to resolve issues and complaints with suppliers as may be required from time to time.

F. Management Information Reports With respect to Management Information Reports, we first analyze your management information needs. From this analysis, we can then provide you with a range of alternative reports such as travel spend per airline, per person or per department, as well as indication of savings achieved, and refunded ticket reports, among others.

G. Travel Policy Consultation, Implementation and Monitoring We first evaluate and benchmark your current Travel Policy and, where necessary, assist you with the development of a new policy. We ensure you are achieving the “best value” by evaluating your current Cost Management Strategies with respect to your travel spend, and identifying missed savings opportunities. We develop a revised Travel Policy for you using input from Finance, the Travellers themselves and Travel Coordinators/ Consultant. In the process we update your Travelers’ Profiles with respect to preferred seating, meal preferences, frequent flyer data and visa information, all of which is stored in our Client Bank Database.

5.0. TICKETING DOMESTIC, REGIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL FLIGHTS Ticketing is a tedious task and our ticketing department ensures that our clients get their bookings confirmed with minimal hassles. We are bound to provide the best and cost effective flight schedules and airfares on routings as per the client’s requirements. We extend special fares to our clients as a cost saving measure. Zakale Expeditions Limited ticket stock for all major Airlines operating in Kenya and is a member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA). We are members of the Bank Settlement Plan (BSP) which allows airlines to automatically debit our company for all costs. Two to three alternative quotations will be emailed to you to enable you make a conscious decision with the best option you will prefer. Zakale is fully automated in ticketing by Amadeus. Our ticketing arrangements include: -

A. Excess luggage, frequent fliers data, miles collections etc., whatever and whenever necessary.

B. Zakale ensures that the client enrolls with a Frequent Flier Program with preferred

Airline/Airlines. Our clients enjoy numerous benefits, which include: a. Upgrades, b. Lounge services, c. Selection of seating, d. Extra baggage, e. Waitlist priority on fully booked flights, f. Free ticket on mileage etc.

C. We organize bookings for seats of preference subject to availability prior to confirmation.

D. We indicate the client’s meal preferences.

E. Zakale gives a detailed itinerary indicating departure and arrival timings...

F. We send Pre-paid Ticket Advice (PTAs) for overseas passengers.

G. We ensure that we have organized for any other services the passenger may require on

board.

5.1. INCENTIVES Zakale can negotiate special rates or volume discounts if large groups of people are traveling together. By doing so, besides enjoying the services that we provide to our customer, they will be able to enjoy additional benefits. A group of 15 adult passengers attracts a special rate. This can be negotiated with the Airline concerned. For this service sufficient time is required. 5.2. HOTEL RESERVATIONS / SAFARIS Zakale enjoys amicable business relationships with all hotel chains present within East Africa. We have negotiated reasonable contract rates with all the leading hotel groups enabling us to provide very competitive offers all year round. Zakale enjoys reasonable and affordable contract rates from most of the leading hotels in Kenya’s major destinations. During the low season, April, May, June, October, November to mid-December, Hotels and Lodges have special rates for East African residents. This is the best time for residents to tour Kenya and further promote tourism in Kenya. Special staff rates are also available.

Our Tours Department organizes reasonable and unique Adventure tours and Safaris. Itineraries for these safaris are tailor-made to suit travelers who prefer to go on luxury safaris as well as those who are interested in adventure travel. The comfort and safety of all our clients is paramount. Therefore, we ensure that all vehicles are in top condition and are fitted with VHF radios with a base that is manned 24 hours. In case of breakdown, immediate arrangements will be made for alternative transport. We provide specialized services for Game Viewing, Beach Holidays, Archaeological site visits, Culture safaris, Fishing packages to name a few. Flying safaris are very popular. Ordinarily, these safaris include accommodation, airfares, meals, park entrances fees and Game Drives and transfers where applicable.

5.3. CAR RENTAL We are associated with Car Rental companies like Hertz, Avis and many other privately owned companies. Overseas Car Rental can also be arranged from here. We can almost always arrange for any type of vehicle.

5.4 CONFERENCE FACILITIES We arrange Conferences for large and small groups within Nairobi and outside Nairobi in reputable Hotels and Lodges that facilitate such arrangements. Many Coastal Hotels both in the North and South Coast have Conference Facilities. All the Conference venues we use are equipped with the most sophisticated conference equipment available.

5.5 OVERSEAS PACKAGES Packages are defined as an all-inclusive travel. That is, Airline tickets, accommodation, transfers and meals are clearly specified in the itinerary. These packages are great for family travel. Businessmen also prefer these packages because we handle all the logistical issues for them. We specialize in Packages to:

5.6. VISAS We assist with visa applications where possible. We specialize in Dubai Visas but on other destinations we can offer services to our best. REQUIREMENTS

the Embassy 5.7. MEET AND ASSIST It is very important for any travel agent to have a representative meet all-important overseas guest right outside the Aircraft. We can provide this service whenever required. We will let your guests know how important they are.

5.8. AIRLINE TICKET STOCK We are in possession of Airlines Carrier Identification Plates for all the major airlines, which ensures that ticketing, and delivery is fast and effective. Zakale Expeditions Ltd also has a facility to send e-tickets to the airline at the airport check-in desk so that the client just reports to the desk with the flight and ticket details without stress or risk of losing their tickets on the way to the airport.
