Mailing LabelsYour marketing materials are always communicating something. Consider the message your product or mailing labels are sending to your customers and prospects. High-quality, eye-catching labels that rely on your strong brand identity to increase interest in doing business with your company are a marketing asset that you can’t afford to overlook. These small but mighty tools ensure you add another layer to your company’s efforts, and position yourself as the solution they are looking for.

The Produce of FallUnique autumn offerings you might want to add to your menu plan:

» Artichokes—First harvested in the spring, they produce a second crop in the fall. Good supply of vitamin C, fiber, and cynarin (for liver health).

» Beets—Be sure to eat both the root and the leaves to reap the full benefits of these sturdy veggies.

» Horseradish—There are a variety of health uses for horseradish, but its most universal benefits are low calories and carbohydrates, and zero fat.

» Kohlrabi—High in fiber, vitamin C, and potassium, and rich in antioxidants, kohlrabi can be eaten raw, steamed, roasted, creamed, or in soups and stews.

» Parsnips—Add these to your pot roast or roast them with a drizzle of honey, and you’ll be adding thiamin, folate, and manganese to your diet.

» Rutabagas—Contain fiber, vitamins B6 and A, calcium, and are low in fat.

Why not pick the one closest to you and make the trek this fall? Here are just a few to consider:

» The Green Mountains, Vermont—Perhaps one of the greatest draws for this area is its accessibility for people living on the East Coast. It can get crowded during peak season, but the 140-mile one-way trek on VT Route 100 is sure to provide a color palette that will blur out the crowds.

» Columbia River Gorge, Oregon—Just east of Portland, this National Scenic Area boasts beautiful contrasts between the emerald-green conifers and the brilliant maple, cottonwood, and ash trees, with rusty basalt cliffs as their backdrop.

» The Laurentian Mountains, Quebec, Canada—Tremblant’s Symphonie des Couleurs, held mid-September to mid-October, is a celebration of the

beauty of fall. Mont Tremblant and the surrounding area come alive with sugar maple, American beech, and, of course, Quebec’s provincial tree, the yellow birch.

» The Blue Ridge Parkway,

North Carolina—Traveling through the southern Appalachian Mountains from Shenandoah National Park and Great Smoky Mountains National Park to its terminus in the Pisgah National Forest, this 469-mile road offers unmatched elevated views of more native hardwood trees than anywhere else in North America.

Fall Foliage Worth Traveling ForIf you live in a part of North America where the leaves stay green, take

heart—chances are you don’t live too far from somewhere that they don’t.

Lin-Manuel Miranda was born on January 16, 1980, in New York City. He and his sister grew up in a family that valued a wide variety of musical genres. Having performed in stage productions in elementary and high school, he went on to major in theater studies at Wesleyan University. While there, he began developing what became In the Heights, his Tony Award-winning musical that debuted in 2008. Not long after that success, he began work on Hamilton, which has become one of the most popular stage musicals of all time.
