ترمــووود، فرآینــد خشــک کردن چــوب همــراه بــا بخــار آب و گــردش هــوا می باشــد . مغــز چــوب در ایــن فرآینــد بــه ترمـــــــــووود دمــای بیــن 185 تــا 220 درجــه ســانتیگراد رســیده و بســته بــه گونــه چــوب، رطوبــت آن بــه زیر % 6 می رســد .

بدلیــل دمــای باالیــی کــه بــه ترمــووود وارد می گــردد، زنجیره هــای ســلولزی شکســته می شــود . همچنیــن در ایــن فرآینــد اســید موجــود در بافــت چــوب تبخیــر شــده و از هرگونــه جانــور و حشــرات میکروســکپی پــاک می شــود. ایــن موضــوع باعــث میشــود تــا محیــط رشــد بــرای هرگونــه قــارچ یــا کپــک از بیــن بــرود . در نتیجــه طــول عمــر

ThermowoodThermowood is the process of drying wood by steam and air circulation. The heartwood reaches 185 to 220oC and its moisture reaches under 6%, depending on the kind of wood.Due to the high temperature forced on thermowood, cellulose chain breaks down. Also in this process, the acid present in wood tissues is evaporated and becomes clear of any kind of animals and microscopic insects. This results in the fact that the environment is cleared off any kind of fungus or mold. Consequently the lifespan of thermowood increases.During the process of “thermization”, the major part of wood resins is excluded from it and the remaining part appears in crystal form.The quality of timbers used in the process of “thermization” is highly significant. This best quality can only be found in some parts of forests in Sweden and Finland.It is noteworthy that no chemicals and additives are used in any steps of “thermization”.

Hardwood

These trees have needle leaves and are most often green. The leaves of these trees do not fall in autumn, except for different types of European larch. The tissue of needle leaved trees grow more during the year and these trees grow more intensively in spring and summer and then their growth becomes slow and continues slowly until the end of the cold season.This way the spring and autumn wood are distinguishable by annual rings and their color shows this fact.Due to large quantities of water and soil rich in nutrients in spring, broad cells with thin walls are formed that create porous and relatively light texture.By the reduction in growth in late summer, autumn wood is formed that consists of tissues with thick walls and provide the stem with mechanical strength and resistance. This kind of wood is more compact, darker and more resistant than spring wood.

These trees are broad-leaved. Leaves of most of them falls in autumn.Wood tissues of broad-leaved trees grow only when they grow leaves. Their growth begins in spring and gradually stops in autumn. That is why each year these trees uniformly change colors from light color in spring to darker colors in autumn.The “hardwood” name of them is due to their tissue and is not a reason for their hardness. Some “broad-leaved” trees include: ash, walnut, fig, oak, plane, beech, poplar, cedar and maple trees. These types of woods have low density (molecular distance) or have beautiful textures due to not having central nodes.

Pine woods saturated by thermo technology are highly resistant against different weather conditions. In order to prevent thermowood from changing color to grey that happens in exposure to direct sunlight, it is necessary to protect them from UV rays by resistant colors. Bridge Company uses colors specific to thermowood that is the product of Saicos factory in Germany.This German product that is available in 70 different color spectrums is one of the best present choices in market for thermowood. For ash woods that are naturally more resistant, wood specific oils of Saicos Company are used that apart from increasing the resistance of the wood, provides them with a special polish and brilliance.
