Role Purpose
To work within the Waste Treatment Division (WTD) to assist in providing onsite maintenance at its sites located in the Yorkshire area.

Key Responsibilities
To work alongside existing Site Maintenance Fitters. To provide routine breakdown and mechanical maintenance of process
equipment including pumps, valves, compressors, gearboxes so as to ensure safe and efficient operation.
To undertake routine maintenance monitoring and repairs in industrial and office environments.
To maintain records of work undertaken and of routine and exceptional inspections, testing and similar activities to allow the effective management of process equipment.
To complete studies towards City and Guilds Level 2 Maintenance/Engineering qualification via apprenticeship route including College based study.
Qualifications or Experience (preferred)
Sufficient to allow enrolment on City and Guilds Engineering Course . Driving Licence. Knowledge and understanding of an engineer’s workshop environment. Basic knowledge and use of engineer’s tools and equipment. An understanding of how to follow procedures and demonstrate safe
practices.
Personal Qualities
Be able to work alongside existing Site Maintenance fitters and follow instruction given to them.
Have flexible attitude to work and available to work overtime at short notice.
Be able to problem-solve using own initiative.

Location – Multisite in Yorkshire area base Ecclesfield, Sheffield.
