Caution: Engage the autopilot only when on aircraft is on altitude, climbing or descending, as applicable; on appropriate airspeed and is trimmed.

pilot first noticing the

stall situation

Disengage AUTOPILOT

and AUTOTHROTTLE.

“STALL”Applies THRUST as required.

Accelerates the airplane to a safe speed (Green Dot).

Retracts speed brakes.

After recovery, return to the normal flight path.Consider aircraft altitude (MSA) in determining best

course of action following recovery.

A stall encountered below 1000' AFE will be

considered an automatic missed approach/go-around.

Reconfigures the airplane as necessary.

LNAV only minimums, use LNAV and PTH for approach; the MDA altitude will be selected in the altitude selector. LNAV and FPA, using a DDA may also be used but is less desirable.
