MAYON VOLCANO

Mayon Volcano(Tagalog:Bulkang Mayon,Central Bikol:Bulkan Mayon), also known asMount Mayon, is anactivevolcanoin theprovinceofAlbay, on the island ofLuzonin thePhilippines. Renowned as the "perfect cone" because of its almostsymmetricconical shape, the mountain was declared anational parkand aprotected landscapeon July 20, 1938, the first in the country.
