Besides his previous position at a law firm specialized in sports law, Serge also worked for the competition department of European Athletics and for the legal department of the World Anti- Doping Agency (WADA). Serge is a member of the Board of directors of Swiss Basketball and a member of the Appeals Panel of the Fédération Internationale de Basketball (FIBA), respectively the Swiss national and the world governing body for the sport of basketball. Serge is also the President of a first division basketball club in Switzerland. Serge provides general assistance to national and international sports organizations (federations, national anti-doping organizations, clubs, event organizers, motorsport teams, sports commercial companies, etc.) and to individuals (athletes, players, riders, agents, etc.) in particular regarding governance, regulatory, disciplinary and contractual matters. Serge assists and represents parties before sports and state authorities, such as the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), the national and international federations and national anti-doping organizations disciplinary bodies, as well as the Swiss Supreme Court (Tribunal fédéral). Serge has taken part in more that fifty CAS proceedings His insider experience at WADA makes Serge an expert in the field of anti-doping. Serge is experienced in advising and representing sports organization and athletes in said field. As a former professional basketball player, Serge is particularly well suited to understand the needs of athletes. In parallel to his activity in sports law, Serge advises and represents parties in different areas of business law.
