The Coast Guard Auxiliary Association, Inc.

– in strengthening its fiscal commitment to the

members of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary –

will organize and manage in such a way as to

produce the necessary funding and capitalization

required for all present and future financial

needs of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary.

MISSION

With Association being critical to fiscal health of U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, we will:

• Focus on our declining revenues that are impedingpresent and future Coast Guard Auxiliary programs• We will direct our attention toward creating & pursuing both long& short term policies which will increase revenue to Assn• We will develop diverse income-producing initiatives using sound,modern business practices so as to establish Assn as a self-sustaining dynamic organization

STRATEGIC IMPERATIVES• Maintain & enhance business, logistical, marketing & financial

support to the Auxiliary & its programs to firmly establish & sustain support for Auxiliary readiness to accomplish accepted missions

• Develop support systems, processes & resources that will be required for Auxiliary to accept additional missions as well as continue to accomplish traditional missions to meet the needs and desires of the Auxiliary’s customers

• Establish external financial support to ease the burden of monetary contributions required of Auxiliary members to sustain the opportunity for volunteer service to our internal & external customers, particularly the U.S. Coast Guard

TACTICS• Increase Assn net income by 30% during the next 2 years• Modernize Assn warehousing/distribution operation• Seek partnerships to assure future income streams• Establish internet based Electronic Mall with 10 store minimum• Initiate top-to-bottom organizational re-alignment for better

management of Assn• Re-format/re-invigorate Associate Membership Program• Re-format/re-invigorate Assn Gifting Program• Increase member awareness of benefits received through their

membership • Develop/implement fund raising program to establish broad based

public & private financial support for Auxiliary, its programs & activities.
