A range of school holiday activities are available every school holidays with bookings open two weeks before the start of each school holiday period.

Youth opportunities and programs

We are committed to supporting young people to become actively involved in the community through a diverse range of programs that promote leadership, connection, volunteering, skill development and social enterprise.

These include:

• Youth sponsorship program

• Youth leadership program

• Volunteering opportunities.

Our community programs are a great way to learn new skills, make new friends and participate in your local community.

An initiative of the City of Tea Tree Gully, funded by the Department of Human Services. All of these funded programs, symbolised by the ‘Connect and Wellbeing Program’ logo, are either free or low cost and are aimed at providing participants with the opportunity to learn new skills, connect with others and participate in the community.

Repair Cafe

Broken? Don’t throw it out. Let our volunteers try and fix it first.

Bring along your electronics, shoes, clothing, furniture, jewellery, mechanical and general repairs.

We aim to divert household items away from landfill

and our volunteer repairers assist by passing on their valuable knowledge.

Held on the second Saturday of the month, February to November from 10am–1pm in the Community Learning Centre in the foyer of the library.

Community Welcome Dinner

Join us for free, family friendly events throughout the year and get to know your neighbours!

Thursdays 22 July and 21 October, 6pm - 9pm.

Please bring a plate of food to share.
