The Mission of Naperville Community Unit School District 203 is to educate students to be self-directed
learners, collaborative workers, complex thinkers, quality producers and community contributors.
CommunityNaperville is a suburban community of over 144,000 residents. It is located thirty miles west of Chicago on I-88, the high-tech corridor of the western suburbs. The majority of residents are engaged in business, professional, managerial, and technical occupations.
SchoolNaperville North High School is a public, four-year comprehensive high school with 236 certified staff members, a majority of whom have a Master’s degree or beyond. The school day consists of eight 50-minute periods. All classes meet five days per week during two 18-week semesters. Naperville North’s 2015-2016 enrollment is 2,791 including 668 freshmen, 698 sophomores, 713 juniors and 712 seniors. Our total number includes 66 English Language Learners.
Naperville North High School is accredited by the Illinois State Board of Education and is a member of the Illinois Association for College Admission Counseling, the National Association for College Admission Counseling, and the National College Board. Chicago magazine and The Chicago Tribune list Naperville North as a top suburban high school, and Newsweek ranked Naperville North High School as the 58th best high school in the United States.
