Community Report 2018-2019
CSNC’s purpose and mission is to maximize student
opportunities for learning in a respectful environment.
Our Mission
Principal Reflection
At Collège St. Norbert Collegiate, student achievement is the primary
focus of everything we do. From academic success to excellence in
athletics and the Arts, our students are continually challenged to reach
their full potential and prepare themselves for life beyond high
school. Our year-end Community Report provides a short synopsis of our
school’s goals and achievements undertaken in the 2018-2019 school
year.
A continued focus for CSNC this year was to increase higher order
thinking and learning opportunities for all students through reading,
writing, and speaking. Teachers regularly collaborate to design engaging
tasks and provide the necessary supports to assist students reach
success in this area.
CSNC prides itself in having a culture that accepts and values all people,
regardless of any differences. Our inclusive mindset is demonstrated
regularly as students lead and participate in social justice, leadership,
GLOW/GSA, Peer Support, and a mental health committee.
As always, the performing arts and athletics are a tremendous part of the
culture at CSNC. Our Celtics have demonstrated their talents and
accomplishments through their various athletic teams, dozens of
performances, and always represented CSNC with “pride and power”
In closing, the success we have experienced throughout the school year is
dependent on many people. Thank you to the students, parents, family,
friends, staff and community members who have contributed to the
successes of 2018-2019.
