SCOOP COMMUNITY PROJECT The Scoop Community Project was launched in October 2012, the culmination of 15 years investment in digital and print media in WA. It provides a comprehensive range of sophisticated print and digital marketing tools for the promotion of business and the community in WA. It provides invaluable marketing support for more than 4,500 small businesses and community organisations in Perth and regional WA. Working with key stakeholders our aim is to create a public asset through which we can make WA a better place to live for all West Australians. The Scoop Community Project Five Point Plan For Success Scoop has created the leading reference guides for the arts, tourism & hospitality, building & design and the community sector in WA. 1. That includes the 9 leading magazines, the leading print and digital map series and the most comprehensive online directories in WA. 2. All relevant businesses and community organisations are included at no charge, and this project currently represents more than 4,500 businesses and community 3. organisations across WA. These directories are showcased to the public through Scoop’s unique distribution network, including 318,000 magazines, 250,000 maps, 900,000 e-newsletters 4. and more than one million online users each year. Distribution is further supported through cobranding and database licensing with distribution partnerships, including with key government and corporate 5. stakeholders such as Perth Airport, Tourism WA, HBF and many others. The Magazines 6. Scoop publishing showcases the very best of WA, providing repeat access to the local, corporate and travel market in WA. 7. The current portfolio includes 9 magazine titles and 408,000 copies each year: Scoop (88,000) 1. Scoop Perth Guide (100,000) 2. Scoop Homes & Art (80,000) 3. Scoop Traveller (50,000) 4. Scoop Functions & Venues (14,000) 5. Scoop Kitchens & Bathroom (24,000) 6. Scoop Outdoors & Gardens (20,000) 7. Scoop Homes Annual (20,000) 8. Scoop Commercial Design Annual (12,000) 9. Magazines Online All 9 magazine titles are available for reading online at www.scoop.com.au; reaching tens of thousands of addition readers each month. Magazine Cobranding Tens of thousands of additional maps and magazines are distributed through cobranded sponsorships, reaching niche markets such as airport visitors, corporate executives and hotel guests. Cobranding allows government departments and business to use Scoop magazines and maps as unique direct marketing tools, significantly increasing distribution. Scoop publishes the leading map series for WA, including more than 120 detailed hand-drawn colour maps. Through cobranding, Scoop distributes more than 250,000 copies each year.

The Scoop maps also appear as interactive digital maps on Scoop Onilne; Scoop Traveller magazine; Scoop Perth Guide.
