• Webpage authoring software• Smallest of libraries can have an attractive, easy-to-update
web page• No need to know HTML or CSS.• If you can copy and paste from a word processing program,
you can use Plinkit.
• Plinkit uses an open source software called Plone• Developed in Oregon (LSTA grant)• Oregon invited other states to join in -- Illinois joined in• ADA Compliant!
Top Ten Reasons to Use Plinkit 10. The template is ready to go, just add your content. 9. There is a page for Trustees so the library can meet the
obligations of the open meetings act. 8. There is a calendar. 7. Community organization information can be added. 6. It is easy to update from any computer with Internet access. 5. News items can be entered and scheduled to go live at a later
