• Improved coordination & collaboration amongst national, provincial and local government

tailored for his situation, but since using visually challenge

the screen is design in such a way that meet His needs. He is now

Challenges
• Decline of equitable share budget resulting in Library Services becoming increasingly managed from conditional grant budget
• 99% of salaries from provincialisation funded from Conditional Grant
• Delays in implementation of infrastructure and maintenance projects
• High cost of connectivity and broadband
• Struggling with slow internet speed
• Security/theft/burglary challenges in libraries: Draw back
• Fear that may be brought by the introduction 4IR
Conclusion
• The conditional Grant has and continues to contribute indelibly towards development of libraries in the country leading libraries to add value to the lives of communities: IT, modern technology, free information services and affordable basic services.
• Libraries increasingly becoming techno-centric and thus ICT hubs, Information kiosks
• Dual Purpose Libraries benefiting both school and general communities.
• The addition of Services for the Visually Impaired also contributes to changing the face of libraries
