Program Description• Explore the art and science of promoting health, preventing disease, and improving the health of children, teens and adults in local, national, and global communities.
• Use the flexible elective options to build a personalized course of study and gain theoretical and hands-on experience relevant to today’s complex and changing health care system.
• Combine in-class learning with internship and volunteer opportunities to develop skills and experience in illness management, disease prevention, wellness education, and health promotion.
• Opportunities to combine the Community Health degree with a college diploma in Dental Hygiene or Pharmacy Technician.
Admission Requirements• English (ENG4U)• One of Biology (SBI4U) or Chemistry (SCH4U)• Recommended: Science (SNC4M) or Exercise Science (PSE4U), one 3U math• Average in the mid 70s
