July Newsletter 2018
July was a busy month for us. There has been great outreach, training and a time of true celebration on Mandela day, 18th July.
This is a bumper edition of images, because in many respects, it’s hard to share our joy, and progress simply through words!

A day of blessings

Awesome outing. We learnt a lot. Fikile from the creche was happy to have us. The little kids were so cute. She has kids from 3 months to 2 and a half years. Due to the economy and other creches opening, she only has about 6 kids. She charges R150 for the older ones to R250 per month payable in advance. The parents supply food and
formula for the children. The students enjoyed playing with the kids. Elsie even made a poster.
Zahraa' and Zaybonisha joined us. They brought a nice big teddy bear and some blankets to give. It was a very
suitable creche for us to help. The creche was clean and very warm as there is a coal stove inside.

Our therapy horse, Kiara, patiently gave the children rides on Mandela day. While some
were apprehensive in the beginning, it was a definite highlight for everybody.
