WHCA Memberships Saskatoon communities with an active community association benefit their residents in many ways. Some of the things the WHCA does is provide affordable sports and leisure classes for children and adults at Caroline Robins School. They run a community rink in the winter and prepare community activities like Turkey Bingo
and Day in the Park. WHCA also provides funding for Christmas hampers, equipment for the school and anything else the community needs to succeed. WHCA sells annual memberships for 10$ per household.
Memberships can be purchased at community events and at registration for indoor programs. They are valid from Sept 1 – Aug 31 of each year. The best way to support your community association is to purchase a
membership. Westview sells about 150 memberships annually and would like to thank all those members for the continue support in making our community a great place to call home.
Community Outdoor Soccer Registration Mon Feb 23 and Tue Feb 24 2015
From 6:00 to 7:00pm at Caroline Robins School Front Entrance
The outdoor soccer season runs the first week of May until the end of June (weather permitted). Games are once or twice per week and practices are optional. Games are
played at other sport fields on the west side.
To ensure that your child has a spot on a team, registration must be done on one of these two nights. A valid community membership is required and will be sold at registration night at a cost of $10 per
household. The Westview Heights Community Association is able to provide financial support to families residing in Westview.

Community Sign Update
The Westview Heights Community Association is moving ahead with having the Stone Welcome Sign at 33rd and
Avenue W (across from Mac’s) demolished and replaced with a New Masonry sign with the option to have up to 5 lines to
advertise Community Events. See pictures above.
Seeking Information on Stone Sign
We need to know how thick the base of the old sign is and if they poured support piles or not? If they did pour support
piles, do you recall the size and depth of the support piles? If anyone in our community has information regarding the
original sign please email [email protected]
Westview is looking for a person or business that would like to provide us with a quote/tender to demolish and haul away the
stones of the “Welcome to Westview” sign.
Tenders or queries on this project can be forwarded to [email protected]

Community Crime Watch is one way you can make your community a better place to live. Crime Watch
goes on patrols once a week at various times on the lookout for suspicious activity and report it to proper authorities. Add your name to the Crime Watch list and receive times and dates of the
patrols. RSVP if you are available to walk and if you can’t just wait until the next notice arrives.
Crime Watch is also a nice way to meet your neighbours, get to know the area and stay active in
the cold winter months. Westview Crime Watch: [email protected]
