COURSE OUTLINE

 Considering the significance of communication skills, and its

relation with the target language, the course aims to develop and

enhance the linguistic and communicative competence of the

students.

The focus is on the knowledge of the basic skills of English and

the enhancement of reading, writing, listening, and speaking

skills for effective communication.  By providing suitable

examples and environment, the students will be exposed to

various forms of personal, academic and professional

modes/types of communication. 

The course outline will facilitate the ‘self-learning mode’ to

enhance effective communication skills in a modern, globalised

context.
