Communication Networks
It shows the routes that allows different parties to communicate a message.
Centralized networks of communication involve a key player that holds decision making power
Wheel Network uses an experienced person or team leader at the centre. The person in the centre is going to have the control

Chain network
The chain network structure is used by organizations with a tall hierarchy. Ex. Mc Donalds. It uses a system to pass on information from regional managers to area managers and then finally to branch managers
The main disavantage is that there can be distorsions of the original message if the chain is very long

Y chain network
It is similar to the chain method except that the information is passed onto several different parties. Ex. In a school, the principal may pass on information to her primary, secundary director etc.

Decentralized networks
Advantage. People may feel well because they contribute in the decision making
Circle network, Managers or groups of people communicate each other. Disadvantage. There is not leader and the strategies can be longer

Leadership styles
Autocratic. An autocratic leader or manager is one that makes all the decisions and prefers not to delegate any responsability to their subordinates
Democratic. A democratic leader is one who prefers to discuss with and involve employees in decision making
Laissez faire. A laissez faire leader or manager is one who prefers to have minimal direct input into the work of the employees.
They live the subordinates to make their own decisions
