The goal of this intensive training is to prepare to use the

English language and to activate passive language.

Target group Individuals who want to communicate with confidence using the English language.

Contents • Identifying, separating and generating

sounds • The stress pattern of English • The rhythm of English sentences,

binding words, weak and strong consonants

• Small talk; why is it so important? • Signposting techniques (aiding the flow

and clarity of a presentation)

Implementation

The course will be held at the Galimatias premises in Punavuori (Pursimiehenkatu 29-31 B, 5th floor, 00150 Helsinki).

What is signposting? A technique to help people follow the meaning of what you are saying. They act as guides to help the lestener follow what you

are saying throughout a conversation, help to establish arapport and help them to categorise

what yu are saying.
