NATIONAL FAMILIES WEEK CELEBRATIONS

Next week sees the commencement of celebrations at Kindy for National Families Week, Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea & Under 8’s Week. Families are invited to come along and help the children celebrate. Please refer to the note with your sign in sheet and on the verandah for your groups date and time. Please remember to bring along a small plate to share if possible. At Western Suburbs Kindergarten we want to celebrate the vital role that families play in Australian society and acknowledge the importance of hearing the voices of children and their families. We have placed our “Community Family Tree” up on the verandah. When coming along to kindy for drop off or pick up please help us make our “Community Family Tree” grow by writing your thoughts on a leaf and placing it on our tree. Ask yourself and your children; how does our Kindergarten community help your family? We look forward to creating a thriving tree of thoughts to share with the Kindergarten community.

VISITOR’S REGISTER The Visitor’s Register must be signed if you stay on roster or any time you are at the Kindergarten outside your child’s regular Kindy hours (e.g. to attend a committee meeting, working bee etc.) All attending, including siblings and other family members should be signed in for insurance purposes.
