Diwali at Groz, is a grand celebration and is highly appreciated by Groz members and guests.
This year the cultural programme apart from being entertaining carried a powerful message - RESPECT WOMEN.
We know that divinity blossoms where women are respected, yet we are witnessing one of the worst times where the moral fabric of society is being constantly challenged.
Increasing lack of respect for fellow beings especially the elderly, disrespect for women - these are turbulent times.
The initiative taken by the cultural team to portray a very important element - Respect Women, is highly appreciable and I congratulate the complete team.
I would like you all to carry this message forth and further imbibe the strong values of our Indian culture of Respect, Love and Brotherhood amongst all.

Founder’s Day CelebrationThe Founder’s Day Celebrations on Oct 6,13 were unique.
Falling in the Joy of Giving week (Oct 2 - Oct 8,13) all Groz- members got together to help the under-privileged. Charitable contributions of clothes, shoes, books, toys & utensils were made. All the collection was distributed with the help of an NGO-Pratigya
“Lets Enrich Life, Let’s make a difference”.Groz employees who have the will, the determination, drive & talent have joined their hands together with Mr. Life and have formulated the following committees –1. CSR (Helping Hands) - A committee working towards corporate consciousness2. Culture House - A group for the creative3. Witness Fitness - A group for sports and fitness enthusiasts
JCB, undoubtedly remained, the biggest highlight at the GROZ Diwali function. It was indeed a proud day for the GROZ family as the association with a prestigious brand like JCB will take the company to new heights. JCB is one of the biggest brand in the construction and earth moving equipment sector and as a part of their brand extension wanted an entry into the Indian Hand Tools industry and found the right partners in GROZ. GROZ and JCB together launched the JCB branded hand tools on the 30th of October, 2013. As said by Mr. Dhiren, “GROZ will not just be a distribution partner but will completely manage the show by sourcing, manufacturing, distributing and marketing of this world class range of JCB- Hand Tools in INDIA. Ajit ParasharDiwali Function- These kinds of social gathering boost confidence in an employee - employer relationship. Good Family function, full of entertainment and fun with a clear social message which was depicted by a small play. Food was very delicious & overall arrangements were appreciable.
Rajesh ChowdhryProfessionally arranged function with a feeling of personal and familial touch. There was a lot of talent displayed by our employees through the various cultural programs. The social message which came out from the Skit was very touching.

To aid Groz employees in enrolment for Aadhar Card a camp had been organized on 08th September 2013 at the company premises. More than 90 employees and their families availed the benefits of the camp

KAIZENThe Kaizen Award ceremony was held on 28th October 2013. The winners are as follows –

Result Oriented Interviewing SkillsA Workshop on result oriented interviewing was conducted on 10th & 11th Oct’13 by Mr. Ashok Grover (Skillscape Consulting) was aimed at preparing the interviewers to identify competencies needed for hiring potential candidates.
Self Empowerment Program :A training on Self Empowerment was conducted on 28th July 2013 by Brahma Kumaris (Om Shanti Retreat Centre) aimed at bringing positive changes in the lives of people by enhancing their spiritual values and generating awareness of the worth and dignity of a human being.
Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD & T)The training on GD & T was held on 14th & 15th September 2013 by Mr. Surendra P Tiwari (Executive Director of QGS). It was aimed at the professional development and career enhancement of employees.
