Manufactured in Carrollton, Georgia, Skyspan is the industry leader in the design, manufacture, and installation of commercial outdoor umbrellas.

All of our umbrella structures are 100% UV rated and waterproof and come in a wide range of sizes to fi t every budget. They can be custom designed to suit every client’s needs, with personal add-ons available such as heaters, plastic drop down curtains, screen printing, and lighting to name a few. The canopy is also available in a large range of stunning colors to match any décor or compliment a logo.

Skyspan Umbrella Structures are designed to be long lasting and able to withstand wind gusts of up to 93 mph, depending on the model, and ingeniously designed for ease of both installation and client use.

The structure consists of solid powder coated structural aluminum frames and arms or structural grade steel masts. The PVC coated fl ame retardant fabric of the umbrella prevents airborne dust and pollution from going through the fabric, making it virtually self-cleaning. A stainless steel cable is concealed into the perimeter of the canopy to give the classic curved profi le that makes the look of Skyspan so appealing.

The Sunset Range is Skyspan’s most popular style of umbrella. These retractable umbrellas are engineered to withstand winds of up to 75mph when opened and 93 mph when retracted. The brilliance of this The Sunset is that in high winds or ominous weather, the umbrellas can be retracted in moments, so easy a small child could do it. The unique gearing mechanism concealed inside the umbrella column allows the umbrellas to be retracted effortlessly and smoothly with a removable handle, ideal for cafes and restaurants that require a retractable structure.

Made from hot dipped galvanized structural steel and powder coated to your choice of color, they are wind rated to 75 mph, and like the Sunset Range, fully retractable and able to pivot 360 degrees. Wavecrest

The Skyspan Wavecrest was designed to replace the old hip-and-ridge style of shade protection, with a sleek new style and as an all-weather product. This tension structure is 100% UV and waterproof providing excellent coverage for many applications such as: vehicle protection, walkways, car drop off points, band stands, pool seating, and any place where people need to take a break from the elements. The Wavecrest is fabricated using powder coated steel columns and fully welded PVDF fabric. This structure provides superb protection from rain, hail, sun, and wind damage. Standard size is 20ft long x 20 ft wide, but can be easily customized for your location. Maximum size per bay is 27ft (room for 3 cars) but the Wavecrest can have endless bays allowing for a continuous waterproofed area.

Tension structures are a combination of beautiful architectural design, and incredible durability. Unlike conventional shade structures, tension membrane structures are all-weather and signifi cantly stronger. They can be used for multiple applications such as car parking, amphitheater covers, walkway covers, athletic venues, restaurants, resorts, and anywhere else weather protection is desired.

All Skyspan umbrella canopies can be printed to further customize our products. Our customers have full design capabilities; using single images, multiple images, or covering the entire umbrella in a custom printed pattern. Skyspan will take your images and provide proofs for approval prior to production. Use printed Skyspan umbrellas for advertising your business rather than using a conventional umbrella. Our umbrellas are engineered for 75mph winds and will remain open during windy and rainy days. Other umbrellas will stay closed and lose their marketing potential. For printed umbrellas please provide a high resolution .eps or .pdf fi le to your Skyspan dealer.

Skyspan’s concealed stainless steel perimeter cable gives the canopy its curved contemporary profi le. Designed to last – marine grade, heavy duty and low profi le aesthetic materials have been used. Straight side options are available.

Umbrellas are shipped preassembled and pre-tensioned, ready for on-site installation. They can be installed into virtually any location, including concrete, paved or wooden surfaces. Aluminum base plates are pressed and screwed to the frame before the powder coating process.

The Skyspan Sunset “Easy-Wind” Retractable System has been specifi cally engineered to be low maintenance. The original and innovative rack and pinion gear mechanism ensures ease of operation for years, and the anti-jam crank lift allows canopies to be opened or closed in minutes. The unique locking mechanism allows the umbrella to be locked in the open position for safety when used in public spaces. Removable handle leaves a clean aesthetic appearance and prevents guests and staff from operating without authorization.

The heating system available for Skyspan Umbrellas allows full retraction of the product with no interference.

Skyspan Umbrellas are pre-wired internally to allow both up and down lighting to be fi tted at time of purchase or retrofi tted later.
