Paradigm Windows offers a unique array of products for the commercial building industry.

IMPACT CAPABILITIES

Impact Resistant products are available. By using reinforcements, laminated glazing and high strength glazing materials, certain products with enhanced performance add-ons achieve missile level C or D ratings for impact resistance.

NetZeroThe technology within Paradigm’s product lineup can contribute to a NetZero certification. Our engineering team will work with you to recommend enhanced performance solutions that meet or exceed the unique requirements of each project.

HistoricalParadigm prides itself on architecturally-correct window solutions. Attention to detail has allowed us to succeed where vinyl windows would have typically been excluded for historical applications. From a 1743 Quaker Meeting House in historic Newbury, MA, to iconic historic mill buildings in Delaware and Albany, NY, to the only vinyl window approved for use on an island in New England, we can provide the added performance benefits of a quality vinyl window without compromising the old world look and feel of the project.

PTAC LOUVERS

PTAC Louvers are an excellent solution to enhance the exterior appearance of any facility that uses heat pumps or packaged terminal air conditioners. Factory applied, the louver is glazed within the window frame of any window configuration using fixed casement, geo-picture or beveled picture window profiles.

MAPES PANELS

Mapes panels are manufactured utilizing a corrugated high-density polypropylene substrate for the most demanding glazing applications. Available in both 1/4” veneer and insulated compositions. It is an ideal solution for curtain wall infill, veneers and fascia’s. Panels are moisture resistant and designed for low impact infill and glazing projects. Multiple colors available.

SPANDREL GLASS

Unlike vision glass, which is meant to be transparent, our spandrel glass panels are opaque, offering a unique solution to conceal structural building components that a designer may not want visible. Spandrel glass is a cost effective solution and can be manufactured to compliment any window configuration reducing in-field labor. Multiple colors available.

STC/ACOUSTIC WINDOW SOLUTIONS

Paradigm offers an array of options for improved acoustical performance on select products. Sound Transmission Classification (STC) ratings of up to 43 can be achieved with specialized product configurations. Please note: The max STC rating of 43 is only available on the 8-Series Double Hung product and requires a secondary storm window to be attached. A max STC rating of 37 can be achieved on other products.

STUD POCKET MULLS

PARADIGM’S MULLING SYSTEMS PROVIDE STRENGTH AND PERFORMANCE UNMATCHED BY OTHER OFFERINGS.

Our anodized aluminum stainless steel plate and L-brackets form a joining system strong enough to withstand missile impact testing. Built with clean lines, unparalleled strength and design flexibility our structural mulling options fit any opening and design requirement.

Directly joins products without adding to total frame size. Employs aluminum stiffener, full-length interior and exterior vinyl clips, and high-strength structural sealant.

Joins product with a robust aluminum box channel, connected to the frames with screws, high-strength structural sealant, full-length interior and exterior vinyl clips, and steel end plates. End plates allow anchoring of the mull to the opening during installation. Adds 1-1/4” at each mull.

Both single-sided and double-sided stud pocket mulls are available in 2” and 3 1/2”. Vertical mulls only. The single sided stud pocket mull is joined at the exterior with full-length, multi chambered vinyl extrusion and the double sided stud pocket mull is joined at the interior and exterior with added reinforcement and foam insulation. All stud pocket mulls are available with or without exterior casing, interior extension jambs and interior extension jamb receivers.

The process used for joining windows is key to the performance of any multi-window system.

CASINGS

Architecturally correct casing styles include 3 1/2” Flat, 2 1/4” Brickmould and 5” Brickmould. Available in 3-sided with sill nosing or 4-sided picture frame styles. Casings come with a built in nail-fin and 1 inch J-channel pocket for seamless frame integration.

FACTORY MULLING

Factory applied and structurally rated; our multiple mulling options provide cost savings for any project. Enhanced Performance mulls are hurricane rated and are available for larger openings up to 80 sq. ft. True and simulated stud pocket mull styles are also available vertically in 2” and 3 1/2”.

CROWN MOULDING

Pre-cut and finished to be applied with exterior cased units. Continuous J-channel for ease of siding application. Sent as a separate piece and applied in the field.

INTERIOR RECEIVERS

Factory applied channel to receive drywall. Available in 1/2” 5/8” and 3/4”.

EXTENSION JAMBS

Factory applied wooden frame that fills the depth of the wall space from the inside face of the window frame or “jamb” to the face of the plaster or gypsum wall. Available in primed, clear, PVC & oak.

FOR REPLACEMENT PRODUCTS

Aesthetically pleasing lines provide a true-to-wood look. Replacement models include 4 jamb adjustment screws and rigid frame for easy installation
