There are forty-eight countries on the pin map of Asia. The Asian countries are listed alphabetically on page 3. They are then divided according to the geographical areas used by the United Nations. The areas are South Central Asia: 14 countries, South Eastern Asia: 11 countries, Western Asia: 16 countries, Eastern Asia: 7 countries.
