ODIN VER 7.10x

Instruction Checklist for ODIN DEALER Ver7.10x

Note : This updation is meant only for Commodity who is connecting to our ODIN Commodity Manager (IP ADDRESS: VSAT 172.16.1.103 and Internet 202.87.40.172) )

Before starting the Installation please rename the C:\ODINNSEBSEMCXNCDEX folder to ODINNSEBSEMCXNCDEX_OLD.

Installation Procedure for Ver 7.10x

To get the New Odin Ver 7.10x just go the website address mentioned below.http://www.5paisa.com/download/login.asp

There you will get a window asking for Login Name

Just enter your Login Name: COMM710

And press the Submit option below .

It will automatically take you to the web page where our New Odin Ver 7.10x is kept.

There you will be able to see one folder with the name ODINCOMM710

Kindly download the folder in your local system in your C:\

To download just click on the folder once it will ask you to Save or Open.

Click on save option to get the file downloaded in your Local System.

As soon as you press save it will show you the explorer window to select the path.

Save the file in Local System C:\ .

Once the file is saved just go to the file in C:\ODINCOMM710 and double-click the file .

Once you double-click the file a window of winzip selfextraction will open and there you will get one button of UNZIP.Press the button UNZIP to get the file Unzip to C:\ODINCOMM710 folder.

By this you have downloaded and extracted the file in your local system C:\ODINCOMM710 folder now we have start with the process of Installation.

Go to C:\ODINCOMM710 folder , Over there we can see 4 folders

1) Reports

2) SYSDLL

3) ODBCand

4) Client

Very first install the Reports

1) Report Folder Setup:

GO to the folder C:\ODINCOMM710 \Report\Dlls\disk1 where you can see setup.exe

Double click the Setup.exe to start the installation process

First the below mentioned window will appear

And then Copying files

Once the Process of Reports Installation is over you will get the message of Installation finished, Press OK to Complete the Reports Folder installation.

2) Installation of SYSDLL

Go to the folder C:\ODINCOMM710 \Sysdll\disk1 and over there you can see Setup.exe

Double-click to start the Sysdll installation .


And then Copying files

Once the process of installation is completed you will get the message of System DLL Setup is Complete

3) Installation of ODBCGo to the folder C:\ODINCOMM710 \ODBC Setup\Client\disk1 over there you can see Setup.exe.

Double click the setup file to start the installation.


IN ODBC setup it will ask you to select the SQL drivers as shown below with two options

Over there select

2) (.) Install Drivers (If SQL Drivers are not installed).

And press Next to proceed

Once you press Next It will take you to the configuration window of DSN Creation.

Over there Enter the following mentioned information.

IP Address : 172.16.1.103 (for V-sat)

For Internet clients: 202.87.40.172

Database : INTEGRATED_ODIN

Press Next to proceed

Now DSN Creation test

Over there enter the following mentioned information

IP Address: 172.16.1.103 (for V-sat client)


Database: INTEGRATED_TEST

Press Next to proceed and finish the installation process

By this you will complete the process of ODBC .

And

4) Client Installation for users who are connecting to ODIN MANAGER 2 IP address : 202.87.40.172 (earlier ver was 7.9x) has to follow these steps.

Go to the Client Folder mentioned below.

C:\ODINCOMM710 \Client\disk1 over there you can see Setup.exe

Double click Setup.exe to start the installation process.

Before starting the installation it will prompt you a message “ It is recommended to close all the application before running the ODIN Trader Workstation Setup”.

Just make sure all application else except odin installation should be close and Press OK startup the process of installation.

It will take you to the ODIN Dealer Welcome installation screen as shown below.

Press Next to proceed.

As soon as you press Next it will take you to the software license agreement screen as shown below.

Read the License Information Carefully and press Yes to Proceed.

The Next screen is User Information as shown below where fill the required information and proceed

User Name : Put the User Name

Company Name : The Company Name

Serial number : 91638-10001


Destination Folder:

By Default it is C:\ODINNSEBSEMCXNCDEX Just press next to proceed.

As soon as you press Next it will give you the confirmation message of installation details and next step to start copying Installation files.


Enter Live Database Details:

DB Name: INTEGRATED_ODIN

DSN Name: ODIN INT Database


Enter Test Database Details:

DB Name: INTEGRATED_TEST

DSN Name: ODIN INT TEST Database

Press Next to Proceed.

Using Mini Admin.

Select (.)NO


As soon as you Press Next it will start Copying Installation files as shown below.

Now Enter the Remote Address as shown below

Remote Address : 172.16.1.103 (for V-sat client)


Press Next to Proceed.

Now enter Local UDP Port number

Port Number : 5553

It is there by default just press Next to proceed.

Entering Broadcast Information as shown below.

For V-sat For Internet

BcastTCP: 172.16.1.103 BcastTCP: 202.87.47.143

TCPPort: 7013 TCPPort: 6013

UDPPort: 9033 UDPPort: 9113


Select options to migrate

Portfolio Migration and Workspace Migration.

Checkmark both the options.


Path for Portfolio Migration

Press Next to Proceed

Path for Workspace Migration

Press Next to proceed and complete the ODIN Installation.

It will give you a message of ODIN Setup complete.

Select the Option of

(.) No, I will restart my computer later

Press finish to complete the installation.

Now Just login your Odin and cross verify
