Dave Cook Memorial Brats Bash Sept 7The annual Brotherhood of St. Andrew's annual Dave Cook Memorial Brats Bash will Thursday, Sept. 7, on the lawn between the Parish House and the church. Festivities commence at 5 p.m. and food will be served from around 5:30 until our supply (or the chef!) is exhausted.

We are having the Bash in September in hopes that more can attend since August is proving to be so busy with back-to-school activities and late vacations. All men and boys of the parish are invited. Please feel free to bring guests from outside the parish.

The only thing we ask is that you acknowledge on the sign-up sheet the number of folks in your party so that we can purchase the proper amount of supplies. Sign-up sheets will be available in the church beginning on August 13.

As usual we will have brats, hot dogs, baked beans and all the trimmings. The dinner is free, but we will be taking up a donation to help pay for the food … if you are so inclined. Although we will supply soft drinks and water, please feel free to BYOB.

If you have any questions please contact Ed Summers at 614-371-1649 or see any member of the Brotherhood of St. Andrew.

Shawl Ministry re-grouping August 8The Prayer Shawl Ministry at St. Andrew’s is looking for a core group of interested people to discuss a renewed vision for the ministry. The group will meet on Tuesday, August 8, at 10 a.m. at the Parish House to begin the process of reorganization. A new member of St. Andrew’s is willing to coordinate and administer the details of this ministry.

This group is also an opportunity for women of the church to gather for fellowship. Thus, even if you do not knit or crochet you are welcome to participate.

Over the past several years we have lost several members of this ministry due to some moving away and others going home to the Lord. Please join us as we seek to move forward in service for the Lord.

For more information please contact Marty Scott at [email protected] or 614-284-0182.

Now seeking vendors, food trucks for Harvest FestivalThe annual St. Andrew's Harvest Festival continues to grow, and this year we're looking to add a Food Truck Fair to our traditional rummage sale, Vendor’s Market, music, hayride and pumpkin patch, and children's games.

The planning team is now seeking vendors and food trucks. If you’re planning to attend any craft fairs or food truck festivals in the next few months please take some cards with all the details, available at the Information Desk, to pass out to your favorite vendors to let them know about us. Vendor/food truck forms are also available at the info desk.

More Festival news coming!
