Welcome to ICCRC
Whether you have been around church your entire life or this is your first peek
into it, Imlay City Christian Reformed Church has something for you. And our
hope is that you will take the next step into this community. Thank you for
coming this weekend and make sure to look at the Guest Information insert in
the welcome packets in the pews, fill out the Communication Card, and drop
it into the offering plate today as it comes by.
Whether it is your first time at ICCRC, or you've been attending for years, you
never know what to expect during our worship experience. From the moment
you walk in the door, until the moment you leave, we are committed to a
creative, compelling, challenging presentation of God's truth. ICCRC is a
community of people led by Jesus Christ to bring hope, strength and change
to the world—one life at a time.
Vision and Purpose Statement
As we grow together in Christ the vision and purpose of ICCRC is simple. We
exist to Celebrate together in worship (Reach Up), to Connect in meaningful
ways as a family (Reach In), and to use our gifts to Contribute to one another
in love (Reach Out). We are committed to be reforming instruments of the
power and love of Jesus Christ, to our congregation, to our community, and to

Hoeksema, who has found that her
cancer has returned.
Pray for Janine Judd Wise, a friend of
Doug Bosch, who will begin chemo for
lung cancer.
Pray for Bev Takacs who has moved to
Florida and will be married soon.
Pray for Doug Bosch who had a lump
in his mouth removed and for good
results from the biopsy.
Continue to pray for healing for Candy
McKillican who was in a car accident.
Continue to pray for Deanna
Louwsma and relief from the pain from
shingles.
Pray for Crystal Green who will receive
a cardiac ablation on March 21.
Continue to pray for Tina Binkley that
she might have an early release from
jail.
Pray for Lindsay Sidell as she continues
to struggle with pain from hip
surgery. Pray that the doctors can find
the reason.
Pray for Stephanie Decker, Kevin
McKenna and Jonathon as they go
through therapy to heal from injuries
and surgery.
Pray for those serving in the military at
home and abroad.

Guest Information
Welcome! You are among friends at Imlay City CRC. We are the young and old, the experienced Christians, the brand new Christians, and those who are just curious about Jesus Christ. We are families, singles, students, kids, and couples. Wherever you are coming from, and wherever you are at, you are welcome to come as you are to Imlay City CRC! The service lasts about 75 minutes, then please stay for a cup of coffee or lemonade in the fellowship hall following the service.
Guests are encouraged to fill out the communication card found in your bulletin, and drop it in the offering plate as it comes by. Please take a moment and visit the Welcome Center where you can receive additional information about our church. If you are a regular attendee of Imlay City CRC, we would like to provide you with a mail box. Please submit your request to Michon in the church office 724-4315.
Children’s Bulletins and fun pages are available on clipboards in the lobby.
Nursery care is offered during the morning service near the west entrance for infants and toddlers through age 3. Please honor the age limit. Immediately following worship, please meet your children at the nursery area. Children’s Message during the service, children of all ages are invited to come forward to sit at the front of the church and hear a message designed especially for them.
Children’s Worship all children ages 3 years old through 3rd grade are invited to join Children’s Worship, which takes place during the church service. Wait for Pastor Dave to announce the Children’s Message, after which the children will be dismissed from the sanctuary for Children’s Worship.

Restrooms are located just past the lobby on the right hand side of the hallway.
Wednesday Night Family Night This will take place the 1st & 3rd Wednesday of the month, October – March. Dinner is served from 6:00-6:45 pm and classes are from 6:45-8:00 pm.
Sunday School for grades PreK-12 meets immediately after the worship until 12:15 pm, during the school year (September—May). Please refer to your building map for where the classes meet.

▪ NEXT COMMUNION: Our next time to celebrate the Lord’s Supper will be NEXT
Sunday, February 28th. Please prepare your hearts, minds, and lives for
communion on that day.
HUNTIN’ THE TRUTH GAME DINNER: Tickets are starting to sell fast for our annual
wild game dinner that funds our ministry for the year. Tickets are $25
each. Many great door prizes and give a ways, along with an amazing sup-
per. Speaker this year is Pastor Dave Spoelma and there will be big buck con-
tests and other contests. To get tickets contact Pastor Dave, Stewart Shafer,
Zach Orlowski, Sasha Vander Ploeg, or Brad Kaeding. Date of the dinner is the
evening of March 19 and it will again be held at the Lapeer Center.
▪ FEBRUARY BIRTHDAY PARTY AT MAPLE VISTA!!!: February birthday party at Maple
Vista on February 24th. Sharon Mulder needs help with desserts for that day and
gift donations for 3 special ladies who have February birthdays and who they will
be celebrating that day with. For more info, please contact Sharon Mulder at

▪ FINANCIAL PEACE UNIVERSITY Classes will resume this Tuesday,
February 23rd @ 6pm! Thank you!!!
▪ MID-WINTER DINNER: Thank you to all who came out for the Mid-Winter Dinner! It
was a blessed time for all. Thank you!!!
▪ KIDS!!!: Kids Pre-K through 5th grade will be singing on Palm Sunday and Easter.
Practice will be the first few minutes of children worship time. Thank you!
▪ WATER FOR FLINT!!!: Don't forget to bring water so that our church may help
those in need in Flint.

RAFFLE: Tickets are now available for the April 11th Country SmokeHouse raffle
drawing. Tickets are $10 each with two prizes awarded 1st is a $300 gift
certificate to the Almont Country SmokeHouse and 2nd is a $200 gift certificate
to the same. See ICCS staff or parent to purchase.
SOUP & SALAD SUPPER FUNDRAISER is coming up on Saturday, March 5. Mark
your calendars now to enjoy this nice meal and have a good time with family
and friends. Soups, salads and desserts available! Dinner is from 4:30 pm to 7:00
pm at ICCRC by donation.
