The Shames JCC is a part of the Rivertowns Jewish Consortium, a group that includes Greenburgh Hebrew Center, Mishkan Ha'am, Rosh Pinah Chavurah of theRivertowns, Temple Beth Abraham, Temple Beth Shalom, and Woodlands Community Temple, as well as the Westchester Jewish Council. Havdallah: Sharing Narratives of Tikkun Olam and Exploring its Spiritual Side November 6th, 7:30pm - 8:30pm Zoom only. We will use this opportunity to hear from Mishkan Ha'amcommunity members about tikkun olam work (the work of repairing the world) they are engaged in. This could range from work that focused on tzedek (justice) tochesed (acts of loving-kindness). Each presenter will share for 5 minutes, with opportunities for questions and discussion.
