Page One (Four Panels)

Panel 1: Place panel across the entire top third of thepage. Close on REYAM SAAG XI, 28, tall, well built, shortbrown hair with blue eyes. She is standing near a largesteel I-beam. We can see her from her waist, wearing her

blue security jumpsuit. She is standing on the right side ofthe panel facing towards the left side of the page. On theleft side of the panel we can see two men, an ARMS DEALERand ARMS SUPPLIER, standing on the lower level passingbetween them a small briefcase. A door is open next to thetwo men with a sign that reads, OFF LIMITS.

1. XI (THOUGHT): What, is going on down there?

Caption: On a moon base far from any formal law enforcement,Xi stays busy keeping the peace.

Panel 2: Middle third of the page left half side square

panel. We see the right side of Xis face with her eyessquinting. She is looking past the page.

2. XI (THOUGHT): An illegal transaction of any kind isone thing I dont allow on my station. This must bestopped.

Panel 3: Middle third of the page right half side squarepanel. QUINGONG TORQ SUINE, 31, tall, muscular man, cleanshaved and bony cheeks, walks through the open door. He isshadowed in the distance.

3. XI: Its Torq. What business do you have onboard mystation?

Panel 4: Place panel across the entire bottom of the page.Xi is walking behind the man she noticed making the illegaltransaction. Torq can be seen in the background looking inXis direction.

4. XI (WHISPERS): The only way Im going to get to thebottom of this is to stop it now.

5. TORQ (THOUGHT): What is Xi up to?

Page Two (Four Panels)

Panel 1: Panel on top of the page, left quarter. We can seeXis right side with her arm and hand stretched out justabout to touch the shoulder of the Arms Dealer she has beenfollowing. ACHOLAT OKI, 65, short male, wearing a dark

jumpsuit walks by in the background. On the right side ofthe panel we see the darkened back of a mans head turnedslightly to the right. The man is holding a wrench in hishand.

1. XI: Sir, you are being detained for questioning.Please, come with me.

2. ARMS DEALER (WHISPERS): Not if I can help it.

Panel 2: Panel on top of the page, right quarter. We see thearms dealer who is wearing the hood being punched in theface by Torqs fist. There is a swooping motion across the

page trailing Torqs fist. The hooded mans jaw is angledfrom the hit.

SFX: THWACK!

Panel 3: Panel on lower left quarter of page. Xi is seen offto the left of the panel, right side profile, we can see herfrom her mid-chest on up. Torq is seen in the backgroundholding the hooded man against the wall. They are seenstanding on the right side of the panel.

3. XI: Thanks Torq, but I can handle myself.

4. TORQ: A simple acknowledgment of gratitude wouldsuffice.

Panel 4: Panel on the lower right quarter of page. Close onTorq holding the hooded man against the wall.

5. XI (Off panel): By the way, what are you doing onbase the same time this arms deal is going down?

6. TORQ: I am completely innocent without any knowledgeof any illegal transaction.

7. ARMS DEALER (WHISPERS): Yeah, right.

8. ARMS DEALER (THOUGHT): I know it had to be Oki whoturned me in, that double crosser.

Page Three (Three Panels)

Panel 1: Panel is placed across the top third of the page.This is a flashback scene. Torq and Oki, sit at a table witha stack of paper on it. The two men sit is a storage roomfolding pieces paper.

1. TORQ (Off panel): I had nothing to do with thisillegal deal. The whole time I was with Oki.

2. XI (Off panel): You with Oki? That really soundssuspicious.

Panel 2: Panel is placed across the middle third of thepage. This is a flashback scene. Close in on table with thestack of paper in the middle. We see the hands of both Torqand Oki visible on the table. There are several origamianimals already made sitting on the table.

1. TORQ (Off panel): Suspicious? Not in the least. Ido know, that any other day this would be consideredsuspicious activity.

2. XI (Off panel): Can somebody collaborate your storyTorq?

Panel 3: Panel is placed across the entire bottom of thepage. Flashback scene completed. Profile of Oki is seen onthe left side of the panel. We can see Xi and Torq arestanding from mid-thigh on up, near the right side of thepanel.

3. OKI: Of course I can. I really dont want to, but inthis case Torq makes a mean origami cat. Which bringsup my idea about having the first moon base wideorigami contest.

Page Four (Six Panels)

Panel 1: Panel is on top, left side of page. The view islooking over the shoulder of a bounty hunter on the moonbase. We see the bounty hunter holding a piece of paper withOkis picture on it. A small tablet is in his other hand

with a three-dimensional image of Okis head and the wordsTERMINATE across the screen.

1. BOUNTY HUNTER (WHISPERS): This will be an easytarget.

Panel 2: Panel is on top right side of page. The Arms Dealercaught by Xi is in custody attempting to send a messagethrough a device on his wrist. Message says TERMINATE.

Panel 3: Panel is placed in middle of the page on the leftside. Xi catches the man in custody sending the message.

2. XI: What are you doing?

3. ARMS DEALER: Youre too late. Oki will die soon. Theonly chance he has, is to keep the flame burning on thetable as long as he can. If this flame burns out, abomb will be set off.

Panel 4: Panel is placed in the middle of page on the rightside. Close in on Xi. She has a concerned expression.

4. XI: Bomb?

5. ARMS DEALER (Off panel): Yes, lets just say, itwill be an explosive experience when Oki stands duringthe competition.

6. XI: (WHISPERS) Okis chair.

Panel 5: Panel is placed on the bottom of page on the leftside. Xi is seen running down a hallway.

7. XI: I must warn Oki somehow. (Beat) I know how.

Panel 6: Panel is placed on the bottom of page on the rightside. Xi is in the background making an unusual hand gesture

at Torq as she holds three fingers in the air. Torq sitswith Oki in a large room at a table. Several people standwatching the origami contest. Torq is in the foregroundright profile of face on the left side of the panel.

8. XI: Torq, I hope you remember our old hand signalsin an emergency.

9. TORQ (THOUGHT): Did I see Xi correctly, a bomb?

Panel 1: Panel is on top left side of page. Oki is sittingat a table in the middle of an arena with a crowd of peoplearound him and Torq. There is a small cauldron on the tablewith a small flame burning in it. A stack of paper is set to

the side. Oki is already folding a piece of paper.

1. TORQ: Oki, dont stop making paper animals.

2. OKI: Whats the big concern? Youre not even trying.

Panel 2: Panel is on top right side of page. Side view ofTorqs face as he looks into the crowd. Oki is seen in thebackground.

3. TORQ (WHISPERS): Theres a bomb -

4. OKI: A WHAT?

5. TORQ: Quiet and keep the flame burning or the bombwill explode.

6. OKI: Andwhat are you going to do?

Panel 3: Panel is placed in middle of the page, on the leftside. Close on view of Torq.

7. TORQ: Look for the bomber.

Panel 4: Panel is placed in the middle of page, on the right

side. Oki is seen with sweat on his face and a flame in thecauldron still burning.

8. OKI: I dont know how many more types of animals Ican think of to make out of paper.

9. TORQ: Just keep making them up.

Panel 5: Panel is placed on the bottom of page, on the leftside. Xi is seen near a man holding a small trigger device.She is standing directly behind him.

10. Xi (THOUGHT) There he is!

Panel 6: Panel is placed on the bottom of the page, on theright side. Xi is holding the man with the controls to thebomb.

11. Xi: Your attempt to blow up Oki will not happen.

Page Six (Five Panels)

Panel 1: Panel is on the top third of entire page. We see aclose on view of Okis face, right side. To the right sideof the panel we see the seat Oki was sitting on. Next to thetable a small view of the bombs timer shows that it is at

10 seconds. Sweat can be seen on the face of Oki.

1.TORQ: Can you disarm the bomb?2. OKI: This will be a piece of cake.

Panel 2: Panel is in the middle of page, left side of page,one-third the width and height. We see a sophisticated bomband a timer on the number 5. There is a portion of a handvisible with a pair of wire cutters. Several wires arevisible.

SFX: Tick Tock!

3. OKI (THOUGHT): Which wire do I cut?

Panel 3: Panel is in the middle center, middle section ofthe page, one-third the width and height. We see a closerview of the bombs timer now on the number 3. There is apair of wire cutters visible that are closer to the wires.

SFX: Tick Tock!

Panel 4: Panel is in the middle right side of the page, one-third the width and height. Close on view of the timer on

the bomb with the number 1. There is a close view of thewire cutters and a single wire cut in half.

SFX: Click!

Panel 5: Panel is placed across the entire bottom third ofpage. Torq stands next to Oki on the left side of the panelwith sweat on his forehead. Xi is in the background holdingthe man with the trigger device to the bomb. He is incustody (shadowed).

4. TORQ: I cant believe you actually disarmed thebomb.

5. OKI: I told you it was a piece of cake.
