• 125 questionnaires (56 males, 69 females)• in classes of full time and part time students• nine scenarios• the only statistical data asked for was gender • carried out by my class of tax management assistants

• To show students how to carry out empirical research• To find out about attitudes of students towards gender differences

Scenario 9: What do you pay a female employee whise job perfomance is identical to a man‘s?

Result• Fewer men than women think that women really enjoy

masculine jobs (like the job of a mechanic)

• Being a houseman is more accepted by women

• 36% of men would pay women less than men for identical job performance

• However, with most scenarios there was not much of a differerence between male and female
