Whats the money for ?

Cross-bordermobility of staff and pupils

Local costs - translations, fieldwork

activities, local travel, printing of

documents, arts materials

Encounter different countries, cultures, ways of

thinking = > new inspiration .

Develop and practise skills, including (but notonly!) languages ...

Insight into other teaching methods and systems ...

New ideas for management and problem-solving ...

Comenius 2: training of school

education staff

Projects: partnerships of bodies involved in

initial and/or in-service training of

educational staff. Activities may be:

- creating training courses for school

education staff

- promoting the mobility of student teachers

- developing teaching materials and

strategies..



Comenius 2: Mobility

Three types ofmobility:

Initial Teacher Training Courses (usuallyincluding a period of practical experience in

the classroom)

In-service Teacher Training Courses Language Assistantships



Comenius 3 : Networks

Encouraging co-operation between Comenius 1

School Partnerships and Comenius 2 Training of

School Education Staff:

Facilitating co-operation between projects working

on similar themes

Promoting the dissemination of results and good

practice Providing a platform for reflection on quality and

innovation
