COME ON KIDS. THE NATURE WAITS FOR US PARTNERSHIP, CHANGE OF EXPERIENCE, INTERCULTURALITY, FRIENDSHIP!
The adventure began in March, when love for nature united us across borders, and the Erasmus Plus
Program was the framework that helped materialize this initiative initially initiated by the Cumhuriyet
anaokulu school unit - Turkey, Mersin. The voices that have responded to this call for love of nature have
been school units from Agrupamento de Escolas José Sanches and São Vicente da Beira - Portugal, JUDG
Detska Radost - Macedonia, Kohtla-Järve Lasteaed Tareke - Estonia and Kindergarten with P.P. The
Paradise of Children – Romania.
Come on kids! The nature waits for us! is the project of a strategic partnership to support the exchange
of best practices in school, projects only between schools through the Erasmus Plus program.
Our project aims to bring healthy and environmentally conscious children in early childhood with the
help of nature games. Our target group consists of 1,552 students in our partner schools, 3,104 parents and
73 teachers.
The project targets the objectives
- To support the children from early childhood so that they can be aware of the environment in which
they live and protect them as natural habitats, and to develop them as conscious individuals
-To see activities in different countries related to nature and transfer applications to schools
- Improve curriculum
- Removing children's insect phobia
- Keeping children away from computer, television and indoor areas and bringing them to nature
- Develop original games that can be played in nature all over the world in the early childhood

COME ON KIDS. THE NATURE WAITS FOR US!
Romanian team presented a material regarding a curriculum on nature and environment in Romanian
education at the level of kindergarten, pointing out this topic in the daily program through the science centre,
the field of environmental knowledge, as well as the optional activities, where the choice of environmental
theme is the best way in which the curriculum on nature and the environment can be developed in Romania.
Starting from this material, the participants started discussions on the nature and environment curriculum.
The meeting with the specialists from the University - the Faculty of Agronomy – materialize through
the valuable information provided by them about plants and how we can make the pre-schoolers aware of the
importance of nature. There were offered materials that contributed to the enrichment of the kindergarten
centre.
Participants from Macedonia, Turkey
and Romania had the opportunity to mediate
the project, providing interviews to a local
television and a local newspaper.

COME ON KIDS. THE NATURE WAITS FOR US!
The participants participated in demonstrative activities: in the psycho motoric field - a
theme dance - Peonies, as well as the activity in the optional ecology - a parade of ecological
costumes.
FROM DAY-TO-DAY ACTIVITIES:
Wednesday - 21 February 2018
The WORKSHOP on thematic projects, nature and
environmental lesson projects began with the project aimed
at eliminating insect phobia in children. There have been
revealed similar and different aspects regarding the thematic
approach in the participating countries.
COME ON KIDS. THE NATURE WAITS FOR US!
The international symposium was the appropriate framework for discussing the theme of the
meeting - the development of the nature curriculum - through the community - teachers from
partner schools, university professors, representatives of the Environmental Protection Agency,
representatives of the Romanian Waters. There were discussions, exchanges of good practices,
guest speakers, a ppt material on the theme of the symposium.
COME ON KIDS. THE NATURE WAITS FOR US!
We initiated discussions on the curriculum regarding the school decision – the optional activities,
presenting a material on nature and environment activities. Thus, we answered questions about the time
spent on such activities, the fact that at the level of the Romanian education in kindergarten, only the
optional is mandatory, the choice of the theme is optional - health, road education, ecology, good manners,
etc. The curriculum on ecology can be enriched by choosing more teachers on the optional programs
concerning nature and the environment.
Extracurricular activities, besides the program are optional but a very good way to get to know nature
and the environment. There are presented projects / plans for this kind of activity, as well as pictures of
developed activities. The location of our kindergarten near Botanical Garden has the benefit of cultivating a
great deal of activities in this park.
