What a wonderful tour. One of my favourites, because it`s a combination of two countries, two big cities, and wonderful sceneries in Patagonia. If you love cities, and also lakes and mountains, it`s your option!Note, we can run this program in reverse, so you can start in Santiago or Buenos Aires. In Santiago, you will find a great city. There are some interesting markets. I suggest to visit Graneros del Alba. You will find good handycrafts there. If you have some free time, a wine tour would be great. Chile makes excellent wines.

Once in Patagonia, you will enjoy lakes and mountains in Puerto Varas. The Lakes Crossing is a wonderful experience. You will cross the Andes Chain... by lake! Great. In Bariloche, I suggest to have lunch or dinner in a restaurant called La Familia Weiss. Excellent local meals! and buy some chocolates in Mamuschka. Final portion is the Argentina`s Capital City. Didn`t you visit Buenos Aires yet? Well, our city will surprise you! Walk Recoleta Area and enjoy the architecture. It`s not Europe, but you will find part of this continent in our city. Take a breath to lunch or dinner in Puerto Madero and walk the area. And of course, visit San Telmo Fair on sundays for some interesting handycrafts. And do not forget to visit a Tango Show! Esquina Carlos Gardel is my favourite.

Excellent tour to enjoy in 12 nights the best of Argentina and Chile north. Note, we can run this program in reverse, so you can start in Santiago or Buenos Aires. In Santiago, you will find a great city. There are some interesting markets. I suggest to visit Graneros del Alba. You will find good handycrafts there. If you have some free time, a wine tour would be great. Chile makes excellent wines. Let me suggest the hotel Torremayor.

Once in Atacama, you will enjoy many attractions there. The desert is incredible, like another planet. Let me suggest the Lodge Terrantai, it is a great hotel.

Crossing the border, you will arrive to Salta, one of the most important cities in the argentinean north. Landscapes are colourful, and the area is plenty of very interesting culture. You will find excellent local restaurants to taste local flavors, like the Humita, or the typical “Empanada Salteña”. Enjoy it! We suggest to visit a folkloric show, with funny local music. Crossing the border, you will arrive to El Calafate, gate to the glaciers. Perito Moreno Glacier is unique! if you`re healthy, take the minitrekking to walk over the ice of the glacier. They offer an excellent service in each category

DAY 8 - SALTA - HUMAHUACA CANYON - PURMAMARCA After breakfast, we start one of the most impressive places in the northwest; HUMAHUACA CANYON, declared a UNESCO World Heritage. . We will visit Tumbaya and Purmamarca with the multi-colored hill. Later, Maimara, Tilcara and it`s Pucarà; Huacalera, and Quia. We will arrive to Humahuaca. We can enjoy the Market, the Church and the Cabildo. Overnight in Purmamarca, in front of the "Seven Colours Hill"

DAY 9 - PURMAMARCA - PASO DE JAMA - SAN PEDRO DE ATACAMA After breakfast, we start driving to cross the border and continue to Chile. Arrival to San Pedro de Atacama. Transfer to hotel. 03 nights of accommoda-tion with breakfast.

LAKES CROSSING

If you love mountains and lakes, it is your tour. Combines the best of the Lakes Area of Chile and Argentina, with a wonderful experience of crossing the Andes by lake.

Once in Patagonia, you will enjoy lakes and mountains in Puerto Varas. Puerto Varas is a beautiful small village, located over Todos los Santos Lake. From there, you will visit Frutillar and Puerto Octay, and discover the misteries of Chiloe Island. In Puerto Varas, Hotel Cabañas del Lago is a very nice option to stay. After that, you will start the Lakes Crossing from Puerto Varas to the argentinean city of Bariloche.

The Lakes Crossing is a wonderful experience. You will cross the Andes Chain... by lake! Great. During the activitiy you will navigate Todos los Santos Lake, visit Petrohue Falls, overnightin Peulla, and then continue to Frias Lake and the incredible colour of the waters! Then, Nahuel Huapi Lake, and arrival toBariloche.

After that, you will start the Lakes Crossing from Puerto Varas to the argentinean city of Bariloche. The Lakes Crossing is a wonderful experience. You will cross the Andes Chain... by lake! Great. During the activitiy you will navigate Todos los Santos Lake, visit Petrohue Falls, overnightin Peulla, and then continue to Frias Lake and the incredible colour of the waters! Then, Nahuel Huapi Lake, and arrival to Bariloche. In Bariloche, I suggest to have lunch or dinner in a restaurant called La Familia Weiss. Excellent local meals! and buy some chocolates in Mamuschka. options. We have good hotels in Bariloche. My favourite is the Cacique Inacayal, a wonderful 4* superior hotel with a unique spa. After Bariloche, we will enjoy the 7-lakes route to San Martin de los Andes, from where we will visit Lanin Natinoal Park and the Lanin Volvano.

Then, we will cross again in a combination of boat navigation and land transfers to Chile, to arrive to Pucòn, the gate to visit the incredible Villarrica Volcano. I`m sure you will enjoy Argentina and Chile travelling with our company!

DAY 1 - COMODORO RIVADAVIAWelcome at the airport in Comodoro Rivadavia. We leave the city of Comodoro Rivadavia, going past Caleta Olivia, we go bordering the San Matías Gulf along the coasts of the South-ern Atlantic Ocean. As we move on, we go further away from the coast, travelling east to west direction to cross the wild Patagonia along the route 43. Before our final destination: Los Antiguos, we make a very important archaeological stop. We visit the José Ormaechea Petrified Forest Provincial Reserve, near Colonia Sarmiento, only 40km away. The park shelters a coniferous forest whose age is 70 million years, in the Paleozoic era.

Our journey route continues up to the town called Los Antig-uos, located on the southern bank of the Buenos Aires Lake, very near the boundary with Chile.

DAY 2 - LOS ANTIGUOSBreakfast at hotel. We set off in the morning along a moun-tain path taking Route 41 towards the Roballos Pass and the Monte Zeballos, going some 180km along a mountain path, between the Cordillera de los Andes and the Buenos Aires Lake plateau. We will be able to see the second biggest lake in South America (after the Titicaca Lake): the Buenos Aires Lake, it flows into the Pacific Ocean through the Baker River. This lake is ideal for trout and salmon fishing. After midday we move on towards Los Antiguos. It is located in a wonderful valley, with a special microclimate, at the shore of Los Antiguos River and near the Buenos Aires Lake. Every year, during January, the Beer National Feast is celebrated. We can observe agricultural ventures dedicated to cultivation and production of fine fruit, such as raspberries, strawberries, morello cherries, etc. We arrive at the lookout points at the Los Antiguos and Jeinimeni Rivers - International boundary Argentine-Chilean- and the Buenos Aires Lake.

DAY 3 - CAVES OF THE HANDSBreakfast in the hotel. We will go to the Cuevas de las Manos. It is one of the most important archeological places in Patagonia, as the Estancia La María in Santa Cruz. Its cave paintings are very meaningful and are 7,500 years before Christianity old. The cave has many eaves where the paintings, reflecting the nomadic people´s habits who were principally hunters, are. The best known is the negative image of the silhouette of the hands, superimposed. Old airbrushed methods have been used. Other figures are rep-resenting animals, such as the choique and the guanaco.

There are typical scenes of the hunting of these animals. The human figure appears but in less proportion, with more lineal and geometric outlines, as the example of the spiral drawings. They drew with fruit, plants and animal blood. Different times of evolution are evident in the lines and geometrical drawings. We early set off from Perito Moreno to go 120km along the Patagonia Agreste (Wild Patagonia), most of these km are on Ruta 40. We start the visit to the Cave walking some 600 meters till we are near the Cave Paintings with more than 8,000 years old. After that a trekking along the canyon of the Pinturas River. We return along Bajo Caracoles to take Ruta 40 again towards El Chaltén.Transfer to estancia Los Toldos, the way is shorter, we do 60km without waking up so early. Once inside the estancia, we go 7km up to the manor, then we continue along the path some 16km more until we reach the canyon of the Pinturas River. At this moment is when the real adventure begins, when we have to descend to the Pinturas River, trekking almos 2,500 meters. Then we must descend to the other end of the canyon to reach the cave paintings. After lunch and a short rest, we take the same way to reach the vehicle and to continue along Ruta 40, travelling up to the Posadas Lake. Then we continue towards the Cordillera de

los Andes (Andean mountain range), to the west to arrive at Posadas Lake.

DAY 4 - POSADAS AND PUEYRREDON LAKESBreakfast in the hotel. We start along the zone of the Posadas and Pueyrredón Lakes, enjoying a special sight of the Cerro San Lorenzo of 3,706 meters high, together with the Cordillera de los Andes. When passing the isthmus or small tongue of land of 100 meters long and 5 meters wide, that separates both lakes, we can appreciate the different colours between both lakes, the Posadas in green and the Pueyrredón in blue. It is located on a very wide glacier valley which limits the plateau of the Buenos Aires Lake from the Cerro San Lorenzo range. We walk this valley sur-rounded by the most beautiful lakes in the Patagonia, with pretty formations and an autochthonous fauna that inhabits the damps.

We trek along the canyon of the Río Oro that is born in the Cerro San Lorenzo and flows its cold waters into the Pueyrredón Lake. We start walking at the Posadas Lake, to a western direction, towards the Pueyrredón Lake. The way crosses mounts and canyons, being able to watch guanacos, ñandúes (Patagonian ostrich) and choiques. We cross over the bridge on Río Unión, between Posadas and Pueyrredón Lakes, we observe the ecosystem of the lakes of the peninsula where ducks, flamingos, avutardas, long black neck swans and bandurrias nest. We continue to Valle del Oro, 15km away, we cross over its bridge and ascend along the path up to the river gorge, with its 150 meters in free fall. We enter the legendary ñires and lengas (beech) forests, following the path of the slopes that embrace the forest. When it is sunny, we can enjoy the Cerro San Lorenzo presence. Before dark we leave the town Irigoyen to overnight in a Patagonian estancia on the shore of the Belgrano Lake.

DAY 5 - PERITO MORENO NAT PARKBreakfast in the estancia. The Perito Moreno National Park is one of the most beautiful and wild ones in all Patagonia, it keeps many secrets, carefully hidden, thanks to the fact that massive tourism does not reach those lands. Thanks to Argentinian Explorer and its exclusive program along Ruta 40, we are able to discover this natural paradise. The estancia is in middle of the Patagonian steppe, very near the colossus Cerro San Lorenzo. We can taste typical food prepared with vegetables from their own vegetable garden and greenhouse and first class meat from the estancia. We can choose between a visit to the park or horse riding or walking along the neighbouring areas. The Perito Moreno National Park is only 15km away from the estancia. The National Park Post has many different start-points to the Burmeister, the Belgrano and the Volcán Lakes.

We can trek to the Sendero del Viento (Wind Path) or the Mansilla Lake. Along the Sendero del Viento we arrive to a moraine, where we have unique sights to one of the sides of the Perito Moreno National Park and the Valley of the Belgrano River on the other side, we cross the river over a bridge to return to the manor of the estancia. The trekking to the Mansilla Lake is special to those who enjoy bird watching. Another alternative is to ride on horseback along the Águila plateau, with the help of a local, enjoying fantastic sights of the park, of the Cerro San Lorenzo and of the lakes. There are farmyards made by the Tehuelches natives which are investigated by anthropologists who call them parapets.

DAY 6 - EL CHALTENBreakfast in the hotel. Today we have to go back on Ruta 40 some 440km to go to El Chaltén, the trekking national capital. We will have a free afternoon to rest or stroll around this small town located on the foot of the Fitz Roy & Torre Mounts.

DAY 7 - EL CHALTÉNTrekking to the Capri lagoon Breakfast in the hotel. The trekking to Laguna Capri offers a unique relaxing view for the eyes and it is ideal for those who do not have the time to take a whole day walking, like going to the Laguna de Los Tres or Laguna Torre. Our main objective is to arrive to the first viewpoint of the Fitz Roy Mountain. We begin from the town of El Chaltén, it is an easy trekking al-though the slope is pronounced for a stretch of about 2 hours, rising some 350 metres. The first part is the same as Los Tres track until we arrive at a natural rocky viewpoint where we can turn off to the south until the camping site. At the viewpoint we will have a privileged view of the Torre Mountain and its surrounding ice needles such as Poincenot, Saint Exupéry, Mermoz and Guillaumet. We stop just a few minutes before entering the Capri Camping Site in order to see the Laguna Capri. We return by the same trail to our lodgings in the town.

DAY 8 - EL CALAFATE- PERITO MORENO GLACIERBreakfast in the hotel. Early in the morning we make our way to the most famous glacier in the world. It was declared as a Heritage Humanity in 1981 by UNESCO and it is considered unique for many characteristics such as its continuous advance, its comfortable access to its best viewpoints and the possibility to walk over it. We arrive to Brazo Rico and enter Los Glaciares National Park. While we tour along the Rich Lake we see the huge blocks of ice drifting along and walk until we have a full panoramic view of this giant glacier. If the weather conditions are favourable, we can have the privilege of attending this unique spectacle in the argentinean Patagonia. the ice landslides from the southern falls in which huge ice floes cover the homonym channel as they are accumulated there or in the Brazo Rico. Here it is pos-sible to get to know the glacier from different panoramic and viewpoints by walking the footbridges whilst we are informed about its history, characteristics and settings.

1021 tour - NATURAL ARGENTINA AND BRAZIL 12-night tour visiting the best of Buenos Aires, Iguazu Falls, Rio de Janeiro and Amazonas

with his own hands and bring it on to the canoe, and a brief explanation of their habitat follows. The alligator will then be safely released back to the river. (No harm is done to any of the animals) Duration: about 1 hour. Note: during "high water level" season (from April to August) and on full moon evenings, it might be difficult to find alligators.

DAY 11 - AMAZON ECOPARKTHURSDAYAfter breakfast, guests will go on a nature hike. Biodiversity is the main characteristics of ECOPARK. It includes uncata-logued species in virgin rainforest, natural savannahs and creeks. Several streams of crystal clear warm water run through the rainforest. During the tour, the guide will lead clients and educate them about the local flora/fauna, how and where to find edible fruits and potable water, first aid, guide. (Fishing of piranhas and other species, depending on season). It is a non-professional fishing. Upon returning to the lodge, guests will be served dinner.

DAY 12 - AMAZON ECOPARKFRIDAYAfter breakfast, guests will depart for a tour of Meeting of the Waters. Departs from the lodge at 08h30am on board of a regional double deck boat. The boat goes down the Negro River navigating along the shore of the City of Manaus, allowing passengers to view the Amazonas Theater, the Port of Manaus, the Customs and the interesting aspects of the local life - the stilt houses for instance. Arrival at The Meeting of the Waters by 11h30am ( Lunch is not included, during this activity). It’s a spectacular merge of Negro and Solimões Rivers. From this point on both rivers form the famous Amazon River that runs all the way to the Atlantic Ocean. The waters of the two rivers run together for about 12kms, side by side, without mixing. The phenomenon hap-pens due to differences in temperature, density and speed of the waters of the rivers. Depending on the level of the waters, a visit to a typical " caboclo " (local inhabitants) villa will be included (at Terra Nova Island) during this full day tour (may not be available during the months of May, June, July and sometimes also August, when the villa is flooded). This visit will happen prior or after lunch. Dinner will be served at the lodge.

Duration: about 09 hours*NOTE 1: Time for an optional visit to the National Park ofJanauary is programmed (at extra charge).

DAY 13 - AMAZON ECOPARKSATURDAYAfter breakfast, guests will have a morning of leisure to relax and explore the area, then transfer back to Manaus

IMPORTANT: The distribution of the tours will be coordinated by the local operation department.

Guests will be transferred from airport to the lodge to be checked in to their rooms and then will visit the Monkey Forest. The facilities for rehabilitation and re-introduction of wild animals in their habitat (known as Monkey Forest), was created in 1991 with the intention of receiving animals that have been confiscated from illegal commerce. This is a joint proj-ect with the Municipal Secretary of Environment and Sustainability. In this center, the animals are initially put into quarantine to be evaluated and taken care of by a team of veterinaries and biologists. The duration of the tour of the center will be about 40 minutes to 1 hour. Following will be lunch, and then a visit to a native resident’s house. Guests will depart from the lodge on a boat or motorized canoe, accompanied by a bilingual guide to learn about the traditions and cus-toms of local Amazonian natives. The duration of this tour varies according to the place visited, and during low water level seasons a boat may not be required. At high water level seasons, distant communities may be visited and the tour can last up to three hours. After visiting the native’s house some fishing may be done. Next the guests will have dinner, and then go to a Night tour in canoe. Depart lodge in paddle or motorized canoes, to appreciate the sounds of the jungle at night, with the possibility to spot small alligators (or other nightly creatures). Alligators are spotted because their eyes shine like small red lights. Once the alligator is spotted by the guide’s spotlight, he will try to catch a small alligator

The following general conditions fully conform to Law 18829, Decree 2182/72, Resolution 404/72.

RIPIO EVT OF IDEAS TURÍSTICAS S.R.L., Dossier No. 10687, located at Av. Raúl Scalabrini Ortiz 258 – 3rd Floor C, Buenos Aires, Argentina, hereinafter the company, hereby sets forth its general operation conditions for the provision of tourist services:

1. Knowledge of conditions set forth: when the passenger (as well as any person who has a reservation under the passenger’s name) sends his reservation and it is accepted by RIPIO EVT, it is understood that he agrees to and accepts all the conditions set out in this contract and certi�es that the information supplied in the reservation card is complete and true The company, on accepting the reservation, agrees to ful�ll its obligations as set forth herein.

2. Reservations: reservations received shall be con�rmed once the passenger : A) Sends the reservation providing as much information as possible. We must be immediately informed of any changes in the information the passenger has furnished. The passenger can send the reservation by mail, e-mail, fax or through our web site. B) Pays a deposit of 30% of the total cost of the trip. Payment shall be made to our international account or by bank transfer to our accounts with national banks

3. Reservation con�rmation: once A and B are completed so that the passenger’s reservation can be formalized, RIPIO EVT shall send the passenger via e-mail con�rmation of his reservation. A week before the trip, we shall send the passenger by e-mail information on the hotel, contact telephone numbers, list of passengers and related data in a voucher service.

4. Payment of the balance due: the balance due must be necessarily paid for before undertaking the trip. The balance due be paid in cash.

5. Prices: all prices advertised in the company’s publications are quoted in US dollars and subject to changes without prior notice. Passengers shall pay the price quoted at the moment the reservation is accepted. Prices shall not be subject to changes only if the trip is paid in full (in cash) when the reservation is made. Otherwise, the company reserves the right to change the �nal price of the program without prior notice. Such changes shall arise from market �uctuations that may a�ect the cost structure. All price increases shall be paid for prior to the date of departure.

6. Reservation changes: if the passenger wishes to make changes in a reservation that has already been con�rmed, he shall do so in writing. Passengers shall have to pay a penalty of U$S 50 per person when they make any such changes.

7. Reservation cancellation: cancellations shall be made in writing, without exception, and passengers shall be refunded the price of the trip after a deduction of cancellation charges. The cancellation date shall be the date RIPIO EVT. is dully noti�ed by the passenger. The sum to be refunded to the passenger shall be paid by the company at the company’s premises within 30 days of the date notice was given of the cancellation. If cancellation notice is received 30 days prior to departure, 30% of the down payment made on the reservation shall be deducted to cover administrative expenses. If notice is received within 30 days prior to departure, the company shall retain the total down payment.

8. Changes made by the company prior to departure: the company may change itineraries, services, departure dates, etc. either in order to provide a better service, or because of acts of God or unforeseen circumstances. Unforeseen circumstances include: strikes, earthquakes, civil war, quaranti-ne, revolutions, �res, adverse meteorological conditions, epidemics, bad road conditions o breakage’s, these being just illustrative. The company reserves the right to cancel the trip due to unforeseen circumstances or because the minimum number of people required to participate in the program has not been reached. In such a case the passenger will be informed in writing and he may opt for:

a) Demanding that he be refunded the full price paid to us. b) Deciding on an alternative trip and pay an additional sum of money or get a refund, whatever the case may be, if there is a price di�erence.

9. Documentation: it is the passenger’s responsibility to obtain his visa to enter the country of destination. The company is not to be held responsi-ble if the passenger is refused, for reasons inherent to him, an entry visa or if entrance to a given country is not allowed because he has failed to comply with essential requirements or because there is something wrong with his passport. Any expenses arising thereof shall be fully borne by the passenger. The conditions set forth for voluntary cancellation of the service shall apply.

10. Luggage: the luggage and personal e�ects shall be, at all times, the passenger’s responsibility and at his own risk.

11. Services included: the company binds itself to render during the trip those services that are included and detailed in the information furnished in each program.

12. Services not included: the company is not bound to pay for incidentals, beverages, phone calls, laundry, tips, food during transportation, tickets for recreational centers, parks and natural reserves, etc., nor for any other service that has not been dully speci�ed in the program.

13. Unused services: the price of the program is quoted as a package, so no refund or compensation shall be given for non-use of certain services such as hotel stays, transportation, or any other service that is included in the trip and has not been used by the passenger.

14. The company acting as an “intermediary”: When the company acts as an intermediary between the passengers and transportation companies, hotels, medical coverage, restaurants, etc., and if any of them fails to provide services, it undertakes to take the necessary steps to assure successful completion of the trip such as hiring new service providers, withholding payments to those who failed to meet their obligations, etc. The company shall not be held responsible for services provided by third parties.

15. Health: Passengers must be in good health and physical condition. Passengers are responsible for having checkups and the company is not to be held responsible in case they have not been completed.. However, it is the passenger’s responsibility to bring along medicine that has been speci�cally prescribed to him.

16. Complaints: neither RIPIO EVT nor service providers shall accept a formal complaint unless it is made in writing within 15 days after the trip has ended.

17. Insurance: travel insurance is not included in the price of the program. RIPIO EVT strongly recommends passengers to get travel insurance.

18. Limitation of our obligations: our obligation in connection with any event or failure shall be limited to and shall not exceed the price of the trip.

19. Applicable law and jurisdiction: these conditions and the annexes attached hereto shall be exclusively governed by regulations in force. Any con�ict shall be settled by the Ordinary Courts of the First Judicial District of Buenos Aires, and excludes any other court and/or jurisdiction, especia-lly the Federal court and/or jurisdiction.
