The X2D communication protocol is used for homeenergy management, alarm and control systemapplications, thus being the core of Delta Dore’shome automation offer.

As it requires no specific configuration tool, X2D isvery easy to install and use. Each installation hasits own code (16 million possibilities), whichensures a secure system. Using the same protocolfor home applications allows them to be immedia-tely operational and interactive. X2D radioDelta Dore has chosen to use the 868 MHzfrequency to exchange information betweendifferent applications in the home.One of the advantages of using the 868 MHzbandwidth is that it is regulated and, aboveall, standardized. This means it cannot bedisrupted by other radio emitting electricalappliances (e.g. : wireless headset).

X2D powerline carrier (PLC)This technology uses the existing electricalnetwork and does not require any additionalwiring. X2D does not disrupt appliances or theelectric power supply thanks to its separate132.45 KHz bandwidth.

X2D-HD bi-directional radio technologyX2D-HD is the high-speed radio communica-tion protocol developed by Delta Dore. It canbe used, among other things, to control aseries of networked motors.
