HISTORY !!The story of Colunna Yachts started in 1981, when the young João Victor Eduardo Colunna, at 18

years old,conceived, developed and produced its own jet ski at a time they almost did not exist in

Brazil ‐ as the conclusion final test of his projects and design course.

Alone, he developed the hull and shaped piece by piece of engine and water‐jet, one of the first of its

kind in the country.

What was a school project eventually became a business. With the success of the prototype, the

product was brought to the marketplace and João Colunna began selling jet ski that he had created

to his friends, creating the brand "Colunna" and being the pioneer in the segment in Brazil.

Since then, he has manufactured spare parts and jet skis for championship being national champion

using his own brand of Jet‐ski, what has stimulated him to invest in an old dream: to manufacture

water‐jet powered boats.

In early 90's, Colunna started production of larger boats, and in 1995, created a small 12’ boat, with

capacity for three people, fast, good with curves and a turbine replacing the traditional engined

powered by propellers. Thus was born, the First Jet Boat made in Brazil, becoming the company's

Flagship product.

Until today, Colunna has the exclusivity rights of Jet Boats production not only in Brazil but throughout

South America.

In 2004, another audacious step. Colunna launches the Sport Cruiser 325, born of a brilliant project:

the 325 Sport Cruiser.

Today with the Jet Boats lines, Bow Rider 235 Open, 235 Cabin and Sport Cruiser 285 and 325

(with over 100 produced boats).

Colunna Yachts pays tribute to Ayrton Senna, the most famost F1 pilot the world ever seen.

In 1993, during a meeting with Ayrton Senna, João Colunna discussed the

idea of creating a model in his honor. The old dream got off the ground with

the launch in 2003, the XR2 Senna‐S, which became the most famous Jet

Boat in the country ‐ a milestone in the career of the designer and that

stands out for its versatility, allied with a high performance design and

futuristic lines.

When you purchase a unit from us we will need to arrange transportation / shipping to your desired location.In addition there would be road haulage charges from Sao Paulo to the departure port in Santos (80 km / 50 Mi) and port charges (FOB). ! !

Container Capacity: !The Jet Boats lays on metallic inclined structure (including on the export price), allowing 01 unit (20’ container) and 02 units (40’HC container). !!

Warranty: !1 year (hull and motor) !!

Engine Options: !The Jet Boats can be sold with or without the Optimax 200 HP Mercury engine. !!Without the engine: !The jet boats will be shipped without the engine head and jet drive only, but  with  all the engine accessories installed, such as fuel, control cables, steering cables and exhaust lines, as well as the electrical cable connectors. !The jet boat is built 100% with engine and jet drive and then tested for best performance. Then the jet Drive and Engine head are removed, and all engine accessories will remain in place. !Its estimated a 2 hours operation to install the new engine and jet drive. !

Payment: !60% in advance for order confirmation and 40% before shipment.

COLUNNA PARTNER INTRODUCTION!Colunna is an innovative company with nearly 35 years of experience, starting to get many distributor requests and as such has established a process to become a Colunna partner. Colunna will assess each applicant upon their merits and depending on the applicant’s level of commitment and involvement with regard to promoting and selling the jet boats within the respective territory being assigned, will determine whether the partner is appointed as a dealer or an agent.

COLUNNA DEALER!A Colunna dealer is established in the marine industry and is prepared to purchase one or more jet boats as demonstrators. Colunna dealers purchase product from Brasil at a USD dealer ex-works pricing. In most cases, dealers have the ability to set their own price based on the cost of the product ex factory plus margin and all associated costs paid by the dealer.  Typical examples of these costs are:  • Freight (Inland and Sea) • Duty • Clearance charges • Local taxes • Insurance A Colunna dealer is responsible for the commercial transaction with the end user and subsequently assumes responsibility for onward servicing and warranty work. 

COLUNNA SALES AGENT!

A Colunna agent is generally not in a position to make an immediate commitment to a quantity of jet boats for the contract period.  In this case Colunna will evaluate their:  • Geographical location • Existing Customer base (are they high net wealth individuals with access to waterways) • Marketing plans • Showroom & Facilities • Service ability If the evaluation is positive, Colunna will issue an agent agreement.  This agreement will allow the agent to represent Colunna in the sales process, but not allow them to directly enter into a commercial transaction. The agent can introduce a customer to Colunna and Colunna will invoice and conduct the transaction directly. Upon successful conclusion of the transaction (payment, shipping and delivery), Colunna will pay a commission to the agent.  This commission is negotiated, but is approximately 5% of the invoice value.

Colunna recommends the following process before making an application to represent Colunna Jet Boats:

! Local Market Research!Colunna assumes before your enquiry, you have done research into the market size in your country and you have a basic business plan.  This plan should include the main competitors, its sale prices and a estimated sales volume yearly (we understand a sales price has not been established yet). !

 Decision to engage the process to become a Dealer!Based on the results of your local market research you can make a decision to engage or not engage the dealer accreditation process.  The decision should factor items such as:Cost of local Boat show, marketing, competitiveness, your experience, contacts and the investment on the initial purchase.!Arrange Demonstration!If you feel a demonstration is required before committing to a purchase, Colunna can direct you to the best place.  We will always recommend Brasil first as our factory is there, however, we can arrange other locations, depending where we have a jet boat available.!Make the decision to purchase a Colunna jet boat(s), ideally being one of each model to become a Colunna Dealer, or apply for Agent status.!Colunna recommends that all potential Dealers purchase a total of two jet boats initially from Brasil (one of each model).  This step ensures the potential Dealer is serious about the business opportunity and enables Colunna to fund a site visit to the potential Dealer. Contract Signed and Target Agreed!Colunna offers an exclusive dealer agreement if both parties can agree to an annual sales target and an initial order is made by the dealer for stock.  Each year the agreement is reviewed and if the target is achieved, the dealer can renew its exclusivity clause. Colunna accreditation!Colunna is excited about distributing its jet boats around the world.  We hope this letter gives you some understanding about the process of becoming a reseller.  If your interest continues or you have further questions please do not hesitate to contact me directly.
