Personal Graduation Plans (PGP) will be created in order to provide a unique instructional plan for each student. Response to Intervention Personal

Graduation Plans (RtI/PGP) will be created for targeted students to provide additional academic and/or behavioral supports.

Middle school students will complete a career-interest inventory via an online platform called Naviance. Students may access Naviance at

school and from home to develop a career interest profile and explore career fields and colleges based on their career goals.

Prior to completing 8th

grade, a school counselor or school administrator will meet to review the Personal Graduation Plan (PGP) –including endorsement and distinguished level of achievement – with the student and his or her parents.

Parents will review and sign a copy of the student’s personal graduation plan. Plan will follow students to high school.

Beginning 2015-2016, middle school students could potentially earn 5 Carnegie Units prior to entering high school. Course offerings include:– 7th Gr. Compacted Math (1 credit)– 8th Gr. Math or Algebra I (1 credit) – 7th/8th Gr. Spanish – 2 years (1 credit)– Mississippi Studies (.5 credit)– World Geography (.5 credit)– 8th Gr. ICT (1 credit)
