On April 22, 1999 the Columbine Task Force received information that the yet to be printed 1999 Columbine High

School yearbook was going to have a dedication to the 'TCM" and a photo of Eric Harris wearing black "BDU" pants

and sunglasses. The school administration decided to pull these from the yearbook Copies of these pages were faxed

to the task force as well as the index pages showing Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold's names.

The dedication reads:

Ode :0 the rCM

From hacking and bowling to a downtown dayat a certain convention, from players and

abstainers to certain teachers that we won't mention, from learning to sack and wearing

black to last years week of OOS suspension, High school is over so get some coolie"s

and relieve that built-up tension. Have an awesome summer! Robyn

Synopsis:On the above date, Denver Police Department Detective Jeff Ruetz and this reportingsupervisor interviewed Robert K.JRGIS. He was asked several questions relatiog to hisknowledge of the Columbine High School incident of 04-20·99. and his personal andworking relationship with subjects of this investigation, namely Eric Harris, DylanK1ebold, Chris Morris, er al,

Details:1) On the date of May 3, 1999at 1320 hours. Denver Police Department Detective JeffRuetz and this reporting supervisor met and interviewed one Robert Hossein KIRGIS(05·24-70). This interview took place at Denver Police Headquarters, VicelDrugControl Bureau interview room. This interview took place subsequent to a telephoniccontact made by K.JRGIS to this reporting supervisor approximately 1100 hours thisdate. K1RGIS reported that he had received my business card left at his residence lastFriday, and that he had called me on Saturday from his new employment at Dominoespizza on south Broadway (303.781.6647). K1RGIS then called this date, and relatedthai he had no problem talking with investigators, and thai he wanted to set one thingstraight from the start; that news reports about a pipebomb being detonated at theBlackjack pizza place on West Ottawa Place was erroneous. That the detonationsinvolved a "dry ice bomb", and not a pipe bomb. KIRGlS then staled that he wouldmeet this reporting supervisor after he dropped off his daughter at school, approximately 1:00 PM.

2) KIRGrS responded to Denver Police Headquarters at 1315 hours. Detective Ruetzand this reporting supervisorverified his identity, when KIRGrS proffered his ColoradoOperators License. KIRGIS stated that he was the owner/manager of the Blackjackpizza store located at 6657 West Ottawa Place, Littleton, CO. KlRGIS was the ownerfrom 12-01·95 through 03-08·99, when he sold the store to the current owner. ChrisLao. When asked whom he had hired first from the group of subjects (Harris, Klebold,Morris, et al), be stated that it was Chris Morris. KIRGrS related that Morris was hiredapproximately six months after another friend of the group, named Charles Phillips.KIRGIS also mentioned that "Kibbz" as ZachHeckler. This stemmed from newspaperreports he had read, mentioning the acronym "Kibbz" on one of Harris' web pages.Whenaskedwhat characteristics Hecklerpossessed, KIRGIS related that he "drove likecrap." KlRGIS later said that he was originally going tosend Harri9shome, but he needed him at work thatnight, so Harris came back after heput the pipebomb away in his car. KIROIS stated that Harris had told him that it was anexplosive device, and he knew that it was a pipebomo, based on what he thought apipebornb was. When asked if he had any experience with any type of pyrotechnic orexplosive devices, KIRGlS stated, "only fireworks, they use to set off fireworks all thetime." "They" meaning Harris, Klebold and Morris.
