Picked-up and distributed cots, blankets and pillows to shelters at moments notice
Picked-up and distributed dry ice and water to shelters and distribution points
Picked-up generators and supplies from SEMO throughout the week
Coordinated the hook-up of a generator for a family with special health needs
Entire Highway Department worked Saturday & Sunday clearing County roads
Highway Department assisted Towns in the County with local road clean-up
Made fuel available for municipalities and not-for-profit agencies during power outage
Provided daily updates of road conditions in Columbia County
Provided school districts with information they needed to make decisions
Assisted municipal water / wastewater facilities with generator failures
Assisted Taghkanic Fire House with their generator failure
Assisted Town of Germantown with wastewater pump station failure
Columbia County Sheriff’s Office
Conducted health and welfare checks for residents with special needs
Provided traffic control for down power lines and unsignalized intersections
Provided security at shelters and warming stations
Provided communicationsAssisted utility companies

323 recipients of Home Delivered Meals were contacted
Health and Welfare visits scheduled if no answer
Staff delivered shelf stable meals to recipients
